After a few days, Donnie was able to recover for a bit. Nothing unusual has happened the past days. The four girls go visit like always, they eat pizza, then they would check Donnie. Well, Nicole did.
Anyways, it was noon, and Olivia and Mikey decided to be greedy and eat some pizza before anyone else did. They ordered two boxes of pizza, and Mikey and Olivia decided to open the first box. "You sure this is fine?" Olivia asked Mikey as she grabbed the first box.
Mikey nodded, "Duh! It's fine, I mean, people need to expect us doing this." He claims as he open the pizza, and smoke appeared because of the heat of the pizza.
"Mikey, what pizza did you order?" Olivia asked, smelling the fumes, licking her lips. "Mushroom." Replied Mikey. Olivia smiled, she loved mushrooms.
"Mm.. Mushrooms." She replied, the fumes went away, then they looked at the pizza. Then I'm all of a sudden, a little blue-ish purple-ish mushroom stood up. Olivia raised an eyebrow.
"Wh-What the he-" She got cut by yellow sprinkles or dust puffing out, making them both cough. Their coughs were heard by Julie and Leo who were watching Space Heroes.
(A/N things that are bolded and italicized are showing what a person sees, but the rest doesn't see it)
Olivia was in a dark room, colorful lights and decorations around it. Something fast went behind her. She turned around, and saw a cold mist. She backed away, until she bumped into something. It was a clown with a scary face.
Honks then could be heard, with a mix of whispers. She turned around, and saw ladies in black and white.
"GAHH!" She screamed going to her knees, covering her ears. "Get away! Please!" She screamed, causing Julie and Leo ran up to them. A little mushroom popped off the pizza, and started to walk some where.
"Raph! Brenna! Watch Olivia and Mikey, they've been infected with the yellow dust of the fungi!" Leo screamed as Raph and Brenna ran out the room, and immediately went towards Mikey and Olivia.
"Wait the fungi is back?!" Raph said, holding Mikey's shell. "Fungi?" Brenna asked in confusion. "Those mushrooms that spray yellow dust at you, and it makes you see your fears." He explained, making Brenna's spine shiver.
Mikey was in a dark place. It then suddenly played polka, making Mikey cover his ears and walk forward.
Then he looked to his left just to see a Squirralenoid there, clawing him, making him fall to the floor. He screamed, then he realized he landed on a familiar face. Pizza Face.
The slimy cheese surrounded him, making him sink inside. He then was inside a room, whispers being heard.
"Useless!"
"Shell for brains!"
"Shut up!"
Insult over insult kept being heard, Mikey trying to stop hearing the voices, as he was trying to cry, but nothing came out.
"SHUT UP!" He screamed, making Raph back away for a second. "STOP IT! PLEASE!" He shouted, then Leo and Julie popped their heads out from Splinter's room. "Guys! The mushroom!" Leo shouted at them, making Raph and Brenna left the two, and ran for Splinter's room.
They went in, but it was too late. The mushroom got Master Splinter into fear land. "Okay, Raph, Brenna, call Donnie and Nic in the lab. Me and Julie will chase for the fungus." Instructed Leo as he and Julie ran for the mushroom, trying to not get caught by its yellow powder.
