Stage #4 - The Uninvited Crushes

I have always been extremely cautious about talking to boys.

But my 13 year old mind and body seem to react in more electrics ways than mere confusion on what the kid is saying or how they never make sense. They never do.

Now, I can't keep their eye contact for more than a single freaking second before I need to avert it somewhere else, most likely to my shoe. They think I'm shy, which is partly true, but it's more than that, right?

Something about oestrogen?

Oh, I don't know!

I am stammering and stuttering and I just begin noticing some people who were just mere classmates before. And they're always boys.

Sometimes, it's the stupid baseball hat they're wearing, or other times, it's just the way they smile. I turn into a television remote when it comes to boys.

I can't stick to just one. I seem to be able to handle several crushes all at the same time!

It's absolutely crazy, because my friends seem to think the guy I think is cute looks like a dumpster. I find that insulting. They're basically bashing my taste.

But what can I say?

If you asked me if I'd ever like a guy like Thomson two years ago, when I was still right in the head, I'd probably laugh in your face.

Maybe I'm going insane.

I don't know.
