We demons—as they call us on this planet—are conquerors of planets. In total, we conquered 14 inhabited planets out of a total of 24. Our technology was advanced, and we ruled over all that territory without any trouble. One day, I was sent out with a fleet of 20 ships, and halfway through our journey, the one they called the Witch of the Dimensional Void appeared. You appeared and, with a beam of light, wiped out our entire fleet, except for our ship, which crashed onto the nearest planet. But another being, from a distance, destroyed its body as well. Using an escape pod, I managed to capture an eye that had not been destroyed for experimental purposes. I was truly fascinated by such power.

Later, once the ship and the escape pod had landed on the planet where our ship was, we saw some beings with astonishing magical powers. They called themselves fairies. I ordered that our goal would be to conquer the planet while we waited for reinforcements. I sent a message to the nearest planet. Our advanced transmitters should be able to do it. Our life-signal detector also picked up distant signals of other beings fighting—who would later turn out to be humans—but we didn't have time to figure out what they were.

A war against the fairies began, and we used the vast majority of the ship's energy to launch a surprise attack, destroying their entire continent and burning it to the ground. We reserved a minimal amount of energy to maintain an intermittent distress signal.

The fairies were very powerful, but our high-tech weapons could penetrate their defenses and easily eliminate them. When the fairies outside the continent and the remaining survivors learned what had happened, they created a kind of monster to destroy us.

That place became a lifeless wasteland. It was a sea of blood, with weapons strewn everywhere on the ground. In the end, we managed to wipe out most of the fairies. Only a few who hadn't come to the war survived. Curiously, the most powerful one disappeared.

Some time later, the monsters they had created were chasing us. They were practically immortal, but in the end we managed to eliminate most of them by building new weapons that proved effective. Even so, we completely annihilated one another.

I was the only one to survive because I was the most powerful in the group. Although we used advanced technology, we were also familiar with a phenomenon similar to what is called magic on this planet.

After a while, a being appeared instantly in front of the demon. Her aura was powerful and overwhelming. She was a woman with white hair, bearing numerous scars on her body and face, as well as several tattoos.

The woman watched the demon for a few seconds and spoke with a smile.

"Hello, Mr. Demon. Give me the eye of my prey."

The demon looked at her suspiciously.

"Who are you?"

The mysterious being smiled sadistically as she sensed the demon's nervousness.

"They call me the White Saint Alysa, and I've just had an idea," she replied as she began to laugh.

Alysa pointed at the demon, and in an instant, he found himself in a completely white room.

The White Saint Alysa explained what was about to happen.

"For a time, you will be a privileged prisoner within my consciousness. As for the eye, you must hand it over to the Witch of the Dimensional Void when she reincarnates into the body of a prestigious family of her choosing."

The demon felt a certain fascination at those words, though little by little he began to grow furious. Finally, he raised his voice.

"How dare you lock me up here? When the fleets arrive, you'll be finished."

Alysa replied with a smile.

"Oh, really? I hope so. But your race is still weak—though perhaps the most powerful demon of your kind might even end up kissing my feet."

The demon clenched his teeth and replied angrily.

"Insolent. I'll finish you off."

The White Saint Alysa let out a small laugh before replying.

"Try it when this experiment is over. The truth is, I killed Celestia too quickly. She was distracted by your fleet. Next time, I hope she'll be reborn more powerful, and I'll make her prostrate herself before me. I'll destroy her body, everything she loves in her next life, and her soul until there's nothing left of her."

The demon showed no interest in her threats and replied with contempt.

"I don't give a shit. My superiors will raze your planet."

Alysa's expression changed upon hearing that word.

"Planet, you say?"

Saint White Alysa looked at him with a grim expression before continuing.

"You're too late for that. It was partially destroyed by our executioner, Celestia, but it doesn't matter. We'll rise again to take what is rightfully ours: space and all its knowledge."

The demon began to grow impatient and demanded that she let him out.

"Forget it. You won't be leaving until you complete the mission. You must tell him everything I tell you now."

After a while, the Holy White Alysa explained to the demon the meaning of each of Celestia's tattoos. She also told him about various events that would occur in the future.

Finally, Alysa came to the last tattoo.

"...And finally, the scythe tattoo simply means that she is the eternal executioner of our race. But, anyway, that will change soon. She committed the greatest betrayal against our race and must be punished."

Alysa smiled sadistically before continuing.

"It'll be fun to watch her suffer as I annihilate her loved ones right in front of her and to evaluate this reincarnation experiment—it's been a while since we've done one."

Being an executioner was a curse that had been imposed on Celestia on her home planet to protect the race from external and internal forces, even if it meant sacrificing her own life for the good of the race.

The demon accepted his situation and decided to follow Alysa's orders.

The White Saint Alysa assured him that he would be freed after Celestia reached the peak of her power. However, that was a lie. Once Celestia reached that point, the demon's soul would be destroyed.

Alysa remained silent and gazed at the crescent moon. That night, the moon was tinged with red.
