I woke up the next morning to the sound of my alarm clock buzzing throughout my room. I instantly turned it off and got up to get ready for another dreadful day of school; but the best thing was that today was Friday, so now I can finally sleep in and forget about snobby teachers.

I went downstairs to get some breakfast while I wait for Ashton.

"Hi Skylar," my mom greeted me as I walked into the the kitchen.

"Hey mom."

"Cereal?" She asked as she walked over towards the cupboard and took out my favourite cereal of all time; Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

"Yeah, thanks," I replied as I took the box from her hand.

I went over to the fridge and opened it, then got the milk and made my cereal. As I was eating the very last bit I heard an all too familiar car horn from outside.

"Ashton's here!" I said while standing up and putting my empty bowl in the sink.

"Okay sweetie bye, have a good day at school."

"Bye mom," I said while walking towards the porch and out the door.

-

"So, any plans for the weekend?" He asked as we walked through the school doors.

"I think I'm going to rob a bank," I say casually.

"Seriously though. What are your plans?" Ashton asks again giggling.

"Hm, I'm probably either hanging with you or Mason," I state. "I mean, I have nothing else to do. In case you haven't noticed, I don't really have a bunch of friends." I walk towards my locker.

"Well, you should hang with me," he smirks following me.

"Why don't you, Mason, and I all hang out?"

"Ha ha. You're a funny one Skylar Moore," he fake laughs. (her last name is pronounced as 'more', just in case if it was bothering some of you)

I sigh as I take the books from my locker."I'm serious Ashton. You're my best friend and he's my boyfriend, It's about time the three of us start hanging out."

"Speaking of your boyfriend," Ashton looked down the hallway to see Mason heading towards us.

"Just stay Ashton," I beg just as he walks away from me.

"Hey baby," Mason says as he kisses me on the lips.

"Hi," I smile at him.

"So, there's this party that one of the guys are throwing tonight," he states. "And since I'm going, you're coming with me."

I was shocked as the words left his mouth. He's never invited me to a party before. In fact he barely invites me anywhere, only to his house sometimes. I've never really been to any party's so I don't exactly know if I like them or not.

The thought of them make me really excited and nervous at the same time, from what I've heard, party's are fucking amazing, so that's why I get excited and I've always wanted to go to one.

I want to experience the feeling of being drunk and not caring about anything in the world and just living the moment.

But I also get nervous that anything could happen while I'm drunk. I could end up making a million mistakes just because I took one too many drinks. I trust Mason though, I know he wouldn't let anything happen to me, so that's why I decided to go.

"Sure," I smiled.

"It wasn't a question sweetie. It was a statement," he begins to walks off.

"Fine, but I'm inviting Ashton," I yelled.
