Chapter 4

Vidia POV

I was on my evening run, training for Cross Country, when my playlist stopped with an abrupt ring. Meg's name flashed across the screen.

I stopped, removed my earbuds and answered her face time.

"Hey Vid" Meg says, with a paper in her hand, "Training?"

"Yeah." I reply "What's up?"

"School schedules are out." Meg told me, "We're roomies!"

"Yess!" I exclaimed, glad to be with Meg. We were best friends, and if she was with me, I think we could deal with anyone.

"Violet and Spike are with us too." Meg continued.

"Vi's cool. But who's Spike?" I ask.

"You know the Winter Woods? Spike is one of the fairies from there." Meg informs me.

"The Winter Woods fairies are here?" I ask. The fairies from Winter Woods hadn't attended DMS or Disney Elementary.

"Lord Milori thinks they should see the real world or some crap like that." Meg says, smirking.

I laugh. Lord Milori was a joke. His seriousness was entertaining.

"If we were stuck with Lottie..." I start, not able to finish the horrible thought. Our dorm would be pink sparkles and Lottie's awful singing would be the norm. Meg shuddered at the idea.

"Wanna meet up? We've got a lot to catch up on!" Meg asks. We decide to meet up at the Chipotle in the mall for dinner with Vi. Meg decides to call Spike too. I run inside to get changed, a burrito bowl in my mind.
