Chapter 5

Wendy POV
"Happy Birthday Wendy!" I hear. My whole family was standing around my bed, wishing me. John carried a tray with my favorite breakfast of freshly made Flufftella Waffles and Micheal carried 3 gifts.

"Thank you so much!" I gushed, in happiness. Micheal dropped the gifts on my bed. I tore the boxes open. The first one was a pair of Tall Chestnut Bailey Button Uggs. Alice and I had wanted these ever since Margaret got them last year. Alice got a pair on her birthday last month. The next gift was a galaxy case with an infinity on it. John claimed he chose it himself. The last gift was a Vera Bradley backpack in Katalina Blues. It was beautiful and in all the perfect hues of blue on it. I thanked my family several times before brushing my teeth to dig into a delicious breakfast that would add inches to my waistline.

"Tag, you're it!" Micheal shouted, after tapping my shoulder. He ran away in giggles, leaving me as it. I ran towards John, ready to attack, when I got a text from Peter, my boyfriend.

Peter: Happy Birthday Wendy!! 🎉💥🎊🎈Surprise in an hour, dress casual!

I smiled at the screen, leading John to tease me.

"Is that your lovey dovey boyfriend?" He asked, making smooching faces, which Micheal imitated. I playfully punched them and left to get ready. I wore a blue peplum top with Bermuda shorts. I made sure to wear my blue Nike sneakers, knowing that if Peter told me to dress casual, we would definitely be doing something active. I pulled my auburn hair into a Dutch braided high ponytail, and ran to my front door. I wait for Peter at my front door, and am excited to see him flying in the sky above me.

"Happy Birthday Wendy", he says. I kiss his cheek. He sprinkles me with pixie dust, and I levitate as well. Down below, John and Micheal stand, in awe.

"What are we doing?" I ask. Peter repeats his signature line- It's a surprise. I roll my eyes.

The feeling of flying is amazing. The wind in my hair, the placid state of being up here- it's beautiful. I love every moment. Peter points out Disney Academy- our school and I look for Alice's house. I see Margaret and her boyfriend, Tadashi, hugging in front of the Kingsley's pool. I make a mental note to inform Alice.

Peter begins to land, and I follow. We land in front of Disney Climbing Center. I squeal excitedly. I love rock climbing!!

Peter hands Mr. Goofy, the loveable guard, 2 tickets. He lets us in. I gasp. The Disney Climbing Center is the best I've ever seen. He gets 2 harnesses for us to hop into.

"The system is Self Belaying", Mr. Goofy says, "Just hook yourselves and climb up!"

Inside, we meet Alice and her crush Andy. Alice casually twirls her hair, tied up in high ponytail. I notice her adorable Watch me Whip muscle tank. Kudos. Andy whistles Flo Rida's Whistle. The irony. Peter and I chuckle at their awkwardness. Andy likes Alice and Alice likes Andy. The four of us have been the #Squad since Disney Kindergarten. Ever since Peter and I have began dating, I can't help think of poor Alice. She and Andy would be such a cute couple!! I inwardly fangirl. Andice is OTP. I blink back into reality, where Peter, Andy and Alice belt out Happy Birthday. They are such animals at times. I laugh.

Alice hands me a box. Inside is a Vera Bradley Lunch Box in the same print as my backpack, a 8.5 by 11 collage of the Squad and a Watch Me Nae Nae muscle tank. I squeal and hug my soul sista!

"Thank you so much Alice!!" I gush. I get it, I'm an extreme fangirl.

" No prob." She says, giving me a hug. Andy then gives me a bag.

"These are for you and Peter." He says, with a smirk. Inquisitively, I look in the bag. Two blue sweatshirts are in it. One says he's mine while the other says she's mine. They are adorable.

Peter and Andy are cracking up now over an inside joke. Alice and roll our eyes and decide to do a climbing race. We attached ourselves to our self belays and begin to climb. I grab rock by rock, gripping for the top. I watch Alice, who is slightly ahead and try to catch up. Below, Peter and Andy decided to race too. I got stuck on a ridge and had to shift my right leg and take a large step. I continued up, with Alice slightly below me. I reached the metal bar first.

"I win!!" I exclaim. Alice laughs, and begins to kick off. I do the same. Kicking off a rock wall is an amazing flight like sensation. It feels good.

Later, at the FroYo Place

Alice, Peter, Andy and I all flew to the Disney Mall, on Disney Academy's campus, on the other side of the property. We used our ID cards to enter, and headed for PinkBerry FroYo. Joining us there, were Tiger Lily, Giselle, and Vanellope. Giselle gifted me a flower crown and an iTunes Gift Cars, Tiger Lily gifted me a Bath and Body Works set in Velvet Sugar and Vanellope a cotton candy machine.

"For the Dorm" Vanellope chirped. Alice picked up for me and thanked Vanellope.

"You have officially made the dorm a better place!" Alice said to Vanellope. She laughed. Then we all chose our FroYo flavors.

I chose S'mores, with Nutella syrup and marshmallows to top it of. Peter got Nutella FroYo with Nutella Syrup and Chocolate sprinkles. Vanellope got a little Vanilla FroYo and went crazy with the candy. Giselle got plain strawberry with strawberries on top. Alice got Cotton Candy FroYo with whipped cream. Andy got Chocolate swirled with Vanilla. Tiger Lily's cup was full of God-Knows-What.

We scaled our creations, and Peter paid, making me feel extremely guilty.

Then on a count of three they sang.

"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to Wendy! Happy Birthday to you! " they screamed. People walked by and stared at us weirdly. Then we dug in to our delicious FroYo.

Peter then got on on his knees, Andy holding his FroYo, and presented me a box. Inside was a beautiful necklace.

""Happy Birthday Wendy" he said. I smiled and kissed him.

This day was perfect.
