Chapter 10 - Depth of Misery Part 2

After what happened, My mom called someone and just a few hours.... My uncle came. They talked at the guess room for about an hour while I'm just alone, waiting on my room. The time I heard the door opened, I rapidly ran out of my room and then I saw my uncle and mom finished talking. 

When uncle saw me, he just patted my head and smiled.

" There are scary people outside! Please help us uncle! " I said while pulling his pants with my tiny hands.
Then he suddenly crouched to see my face closer and said, 

" Leave it to uncle. "

" Mnmh! "
Mom gently pulled my hand and we went to my room.  AS we entered the room, she start grabbing my clothes and put it in my suitcase.
" Mom, why are you taking all my clothes? "
" Oh. sweety, we're now going to move out. "
When she said move out.... That made scared and sad.
" Move out?... but- "
" It's alright sweety, we're going move out, in a house... much, much bigger than this. "
" Re-really? "
" Yes. So help mom to pack for now, since uncle is waiting for us downstairs. "  then she smiled.
I don't know what's happening that time but if moving out can make mom's smile return, then I wouldn't mind moving anywhere. 

After we packed, we immediately go downstairs. I saw my uncle talking to strange men wearing suit and it looks like they were finished since they're saying their goodbyes. We also went out after they're gone and took a ride in uncle's elegant car.
While we were still on the road, I got sleepy and took a nap.... 

But it's not just a nap since when I woke up, I'm already at a plain regular room with mom beside me.

The sun was already up and young that made me thought it's a new day. I want to try to wake mom up but she looks so tired. Her eyes were still swelling and have big dark eye bags underneath. 

Then someone knocked on the door. It didn't say anything but just knock twice and mom suddenly awaken by it.

" Nngghh～ "

" Mom, good morning. Are you okay? "
" Good morning sweety. Mnmh, I'm okay now.  "
" Someone just knocked on the door a while ago. "
" Really? Well, maybe I should check at the time. "
When mom checked it, it's already quarter to 7 am.
" Oh no! It's almost 7! I should prepare now. " Mom get out of the bed and changed her clothes and tie up her hair. While mom was rushing on things, I was still clueless to where we were. I also get out of the bed and just standing, looking around.
" Mom... "
" Yes sweety? "
" Where are we? "
" Oh! I forgot to tell you. " She stopped and hold my shoulders.
" We are at your uncle's house. "
" Uncle's.... House? "
" Mnmh. And for now on, we're going to live her with them. " and she smiled again.

After we finished preparing ourselves, we went to the kitchen which was a bit far from our room. When we got there and opened the door.... there were a lot of people eating and cooking at the same time. It's a bit chaos and lively yet .... It's fun to see.... Maybe because our house was sad and quiet after all that had happened. 

Someone approached us and told us to eat.
" Hey you two! You're the new here right? The master just said.  "
" Yes. Me and my daughter were going to stay here from now on so just asked me anything I help you all with. "
" Well you guys should eat first before we talk. "
" Thank you. "

They let us sit and gave us some unfamiliar food in minimal amount.
" Mom, what's this?  "
" It's a bread, sweety. "
" But it's looks different. "
" They're many different kinds of bread. It looks tasty right? "
I tried to tear it to pieces but.... " It's hard. "
Then mom tear it for me and, " It's alright. You should deep it on the soup to soften it. "
I deep it slowly like she said and it tasted... "Mmnn~ It's delicious!  "
" See? Now eat all up so you can grow well. "
" Yes! "
While we were eating, the lady that talked to us a while ago told many things to mom that it seems work for the maids.
