Question. Why do people who aren't American think we're obsessed with red cups? Like I get they're in all our movies n stuff but they're very helpful. You can buy a pack of like 20 of them for a dollar. And they're not always red. I like the metallic colored ones in gold and purple, theres all kinds of colors. They're just easy to use for parties and they're cheap, you know? That's why they're in movies all the time because they've become a thing for parties n stuff. Just saying. Okay Sorry that came out of nowhere lol. I just watched a video of British people asking Americans questions and one was "what's with your obsession over red cups?" Well here's my response. Lol okay now to the pref.

Calum:

You were just hanging out with Calum, the boys, and a few of your friends in the basement. You were against Calum in a game of Beer Pong (for those who do not know, beer pong is a game where you set up ten cups on each person's side of a ping pong table and the cups are in a shape of a diamond. You try to get a ping pong ball into on of the other person's cups and if you do, they drink it. The goal is to make the other person drink all of the cups before you.) and you were winning. Calum only had three cups left, where as you had six. It was Calum's turn to toss the ball.

"C'mon, babe. You can catch up," you slurred before winking at Calum from across the table, he bit his lip before tossing the ball. It bounced and bounced and bounced off the table.

"Dammit!" Calum laughed as you picked up the ball.

"Watch how it's done, Hood," You licked your lips as you concentrated, before tossing the ball and watching it bounce, right into on of Calum's cups.

"Geez, are you trying to get me drunk, babe?" Calum slurred before gulping down the alcohol.

"Maybe," you winked.

Let's just say, by the end of the night Calum was way more drunk than you.

Ashton-

"What all do we need for the party?" Ashton asked as you both walked into a grocery store.

"Hold on, let me get the list out," you replied as you searched your pockets for the small folded note paper. You pulled it out and opened it. "We need: Paper plates and bowls, plastic forks and spoons, so everyone can just throw them away when they're done eating, and red cups for the drinks"

"Red cups?" Ash asked, chuckling.

"Yeah, they're efficient. What's wrong with 'em?" You asked.

"You Americans have an obsession with red cups."

"No we don't," you giggled.

"They're in almost every single high school/college movie made in America."

"They're cheap and efficient! They're a classic American tradition!" You defended, but you knew it was true. Americans definitely have an obsession with red cups.

Lol red cups should be an emoji. But at least there's fries. 🍟🍟
