Luke

Your ex still loves you

You were walking hand-in-hand with your fiancé, Luke, when you heard a very familiar voice call your name. You turn around to face your ex. You mentally groan, whereas Luke does out loud.

"Uh, hi, Devon," You softly wave with your free hand. Devon walks up to you and cups your face with his hands and says he loves you. You stand frozen in shock, whereas Luke starts to shove Devon away from you.

"Please, Y/N! I'm still in love with you!" Devon called from where Luke had shoved him. Devon eventually got annoyed and shoved Luke back, hard, causing Luke to fall on his bum. You quickly scramble to his aid and help him up. When Luke gets to his feet he immediately starts to swing at Devon. Devon punches back and you try to separate them. But as you step in the middle, Devon accidentally hits you and you stumble into Luke's arms.

"Y-Y/N! Are you okay! I didn't mean it, I swear!" Devon looked at his hands, as if he was surprised he did that.

"Luke, please take me home," You whisper as you rub you throbbing jaw.

"Of course, princess," You both turn and start walking away.

"Y/N. Please!" Devon called. you stop in your tracks and turn to face him.

"Listen, Devon. I'm happily engaged, and your just upset that one of your 'girl toys' probably dumped you. We've been over for four years, and we haven't spoke since. So your just here to use me again, but I'm sorry, Devon, I'm not letting you hurt me again."

With those final words, you turn and leave, never to be bothered by Devon again.
