Madeline's Crazy Life

Chapter 5

Madeline were snowleopard

Sebastian were snowleopard

Sam and Paul  were leopard ( Paul is a black leopard while Sam is a regular leopard)

Dominic were bear 

Erik were bear

Sonja were tiger. 

Tony( Sam's boyfriend) were tiger

Madeline's POV

Running in the field behind my house always helps us calm down. I was so lost in thought I didn't sense that there was someone behind me until it was too late. I was pounced on by a large black leopard with hint of orange to his fur. I instantly knew it was Paul. Although Sam and Paul are twins their leopards are not the same color. Sam has a normal coloring while Paul is a black leopard. Looking up at Paul, I see a smirk in his eye and then I feel him lick my nose. I instantly scrunch my muzzle up and roll around to get out from under him. 

I get up and see Dominic, a large bear with fur the same jet black as his in human form, wrestling with a my brother, a snow leopard like myself, as well as Sam. We keep our human eye color because we are not two creatures sharing one form we are our animals and they are us (hint: no voices in their head). Running around to hide from Paul I smell Tony, a beautiful tiger, running towards us. He stops by me and watches the guys play around until Sam finally notices Tony is here. 

I love their relationship because they love each other so much. Tony and Sam do not care who thinks what about them. They have been together for 2 years and still haven't lost that new relationship touchy feely stage.

I watch Tony crouch down and growl playfully readying himself for Sam's attack as I back up not wanting to get in the middle of them. Turning to see Paul, Dom, and Bash walking up to me I stand up waiting to see what Sebastian want us to do. He is the unofficial leader of our little group. Hearing him through the mind link. 

Let's get ready to run. The first one to the lake and back gets to relax while everyone else cooks.- Bash

Alright- Paul 

Sounds good- Sam and Tony

Dammit it's always a race- Dom

Looks like I get to relax today- Madeline

Reading myself I wait for Sebastian's signal. 

 GO!- Bash

Instantly taking off, I ignore everything around me only focusing on getting the lake at the far side of our property. I keep running as fast as I can. I love the feeling of wind blowing through my fur. I am always the fastest but recently Paul has been getting faster. Feeling someone coming up behind me I push myself even more as I see the lake in the distance. As I come near the lake I slow down knowing I made it here first. Then all of a sudden I get pushed in the lake, surfacing up out of the water I see Paul rolling around in laughter. Growling in embarrassment I jump on Paul nipping at his neck and paws until I look up at him and see desire in his eyes. Quickly I get off of him backing up and lay down with my head on my paws waiting for the rest of the guys. 

Guys I give up be back at the house starting dinner- Dom

We are headed back as well- Sam for him and Tony

Ya we all know Maddie won- Bash

Barely, I will win next time- Paul

 Looking up at Paul I see him staring at me until he finally notices I caught him. Ducking his head he starts heading back to the house. Looking back I see him give me a questioning look. 

 I'm gonna hang here for a while. Maddie 

Not too long, Paul stay with her I don't want her out alone- Bash 

Really Sebastian, I can take care of myself- Maddie

You will not be alone with that Nathaniel guy in this town. I don't trust him.- Bash 

Fine.- Maddie

Paul no funny business or I swear you will regret it.- Bash

I know.-Paul

 I see Paul head back and lay next to me laying his head on my back. He looks relaxed but I know really he is listening all around us to make sure it is safe. I start to squirm normally I am fine with contact but knowing he likes me it makes me nervous and my heart starts to beat faster because I keep thinking of kissing him. Ugh I am never this weak or girly. Shaking my head I clear my thoughts i notice Paul staring at me. I get up letting his head fall off my back and wait for him to get up. 

Heading back to the house we end up playing around with each other constantly trying to catch the other off guard. Once we reach the house, I run inside the open door and go straight for my room so I can change back. We are completely naked when we change back so Sebastian always make sure I change in my room. I pull of a simple sun dress and race down stairs to get some food. 

Smelling the air, I notice that they made my favorite food, Spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. 

"Aww, thanks guys" I say. 

"No thanks needed it's the cheapest meal to make for a group of shifters," Sam says smiling at me. 

After all of us finished eating I throw the dishes in the dishwasher. Hearing someone behind me I turn around to see Paul standing there watching me.  He slowly walks up to me pulling me towards him. I give in a questioning look. He smiles at me and says," I can't wait until Friday." 

Thinking he is meaning the date I go to say me to only getting out "me," before I feel his lips on mine. Hesitantly I start kissing him back until he pulls aways all too soon. I instantly frown up at him. Laughing at me he says, "Be patient. I don't need your brother to walk in on us making out in the kitchen. I like breathing."

I start blushing pushing him towards the door. " Go. I'm headed up to bed. Goodnight Paul."  

"Goodnight, Maddie," he says then quickly pecks my lips before heading out to where Sam is waiting for him. 

Wandering up to bed I can't help but smile thinking about Paul. Changing into my pajamas I crawl in bed and fall asleep with a smile on my face.
