Madeline's Crazy Life

Chapter 2

"Hey gorgeous when are we gonna go on a date?" Nathaniel said winking at me.

"How about the Friday after never," I said snappily. I get really nervous around guys because my brother and his friends are constantly keeping me from dating. It gets so annoying. "Now if you wouldn't mind I would like to listen to the teacher." Turning away from seeing Sonja give me a quizzical expression. I mouthed to her brother. Understanding she gave me sad smile.

"No, I think I would prefer this Saturday. Wear something sexy, I have a feeling your legs are killer." Nathaniel said with a smirk on his face.

That made me look back at him. No one has ever spoken to me with such disrespect. It made me want to hit him. I have short temper after growing up with Bastian. He would always push me to my limits trying to make me stronger. I decided to ignore him before i got a suspension on the first day of school.

Nathaniel continued to bug me the whole class period by poking me grabing my hair and tugging at my shirt. After a while he started to get angry that I was ignoring him. I could feel his eyes burning holes in the back of my head.  Three minutes before class got out I mind linked Sebastian, family and some groups of shifter are able to talk telepathically. I hated to have to ask for help from my brother but something with this guy really made me feel uneasy.

'Bastian,  I need you help.' I said telepathically

'Whats wrong little sis?' Bastian said back in a worried tone.

'There is this guy who keeps bugging me asking me out and getting angry when I said no.' I say hesitantly. My brother has no problem fighting guys to keep me innocent.

'We are headed your way now stay with Sonja.' He ordered me.

I hate being ordered around but this time I thought that was a good idea. The bell rang and I instantly got up pulling Sonja with me. We were outside the classroom when felt an arm grab me around my waist. I jumped starled by the unwelcome touch. I raised my hand to slap whoever grabbed when I heard his voice?

"I wouldn't do that if I were you."Nathaniel said amused.

"I'll do whatever I want. Now let go of me before my brother gets here," I said confidently looking around for Sonja,"He will be here shortly."

"He is already here." He sad angrily, "Now let my sister go."

I looked over to see my brother and his friends, Dominic, Sam, and Paul, all glaring at Nathaniel. I instantly felt better knowing I would be out of his grasp shortly.

"No, I don't think I will let her go. Now move along little kitty and let me have my fun." Nathaniel said turning his back on my brother, not realizing the mistake he made.

Dominic and Paul instantly grabbed my brother as he started to shift lunging at Nathaniel. Sam growled at Nathaniel,"Like you're any better, you smell like leopard too."

Sebastian, Sam, Paul, and I are all wereleopards, while Dominic is a werebear. The older species of weres generally stick with their species, while the younger generation will mingle with other species.

"I might be a leopard but I am defiantly more powerful than you measly lot. Now sweetheart, tell me your name." Nathaniel says time ignoring my brother and his friends.

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF MADELINE NOW!" Sebastian growled fighting Dom and Paul trying to get to Nathaniel. Sam growled at Nathaniel while slowly moving forward approaching him.

"Sebastian please calm down," I pleaded with him,"Dammit Nathaniel, let me go before he flips out." I started to hit him with all I had trying to get him to let me go but he just held on tighter. Nathaniel pulles me to his chest and leans down closing the gap between our faces. Smirking as I try to get away, he leans closer and kisses me on my for head. 

"See you later gorgeous" Nathaniel says letting me go.

Hearing the bell ring I realized we were still in school. Looking around, I see everyone was quietly watching everything that happened. Whispering to each other about why the leopards were fighting. The teachers stayed out of dominance fights and just watched to make sure no one got seriously injured or killed.

"Not if I can help it, Bastian calm down we need to go." I say grabbing my brother's arm. Hoping to be able to pull him away from the crowd.

"Come on man we can deal with that guy later." Dominic said pushing him away from the crowd.

"Trust us he isn't getting away with doing this to our little Maddie." Paul said

"Come on man let's head out."Sam said.

"Fine, let's head home I'm not gnna be able to concentrate anyways. Maddie you can tell us everything on the way home." Sebastian said calmly.

On the way home i filled the guys in on every thing that had happened.  Once we for home I starred making them lunch knowing that feeding them can help calm their animals.

As I start grabbing food out of the fridge I hear someone come up behind me. Spinning around see Paul leaning against the door way to the dining room. Smiling I wave him to come in closer.

"How is Bastian? Has he calmed down?"I ask as I start cooking.

"Ya, the others are playing PlayStation with him to help get some stress out. What are you making?" Paul says walking closer to me,"Do you need any help."

"I'm just making spaghetti, and would love some." I smile at him.

The guys eat and eventually head home after helping with dishes. After taking a shower and getting into my pajamas, I lay in bed and drift asleep thinking how school is going to be tomorrow. I hope he just leaves me alone. I didn't even realize tomorrow was going to be unforgettable.
