Madeline's Crazy Life

Chapter 4

SAM'S POV

I was sitting at the lunch table with the guys when i felt my phone vibrate. Looking down at it I see it was a message from Maddie. That worries me because she isn't using the mind link. Unlocking my phone I read her message.

Sam 911 in the girl's restroom, second stall.-Maddie

I immediately text back

Coming-Sam

The only reason she would use a phone instead of the mind link is if she didn't want someone to listen in. Looking up at the guys I make the excuse of having to go to the restroom. After I throw my tray away I head out of the cafeteria doors and make my way to the restrooms. Wait which restrooms? Pulling my phone out I message her again. 

Which restrooms?-Sam

The ones by the front doors.-Maddie

Heading that way, I knock on the doors to make sure she is alone. The last thing i need is to get in trouble for going into the girl's restroom. 

"Maddie are you in there? Are you alone?" I ask cautiously.

"Yes, I'm here and alone." she says back quietly

Heading in I turn around and lock the door. I don't want to get caught in here. Looking back around a Maddie, I see her pacing back and forth with a worried look on her face. 

"What's wrong and why did you use a phone instead of the mind link?' I ask walking closer to her. 

"Your brother is trying to get himself hurt. That's what." She says looking up at me.

Getting confused I ask her,"What do you mean Paul is trying to get himself hurt?"

"He asked me out on a date and told me he likes me." she says with a blush creeping up on her cheeks and a smile on her face. 

"Well what did you say? And why would he get hurt?" I say with a smile on my face. I know Paul has liked Madeline for years and I'm surprised he finally got the courage to ask her out. 

"I told him I needed time to think and really, do I have to answer the second question. you know Sebastian won't let me date no matter who it is. I don't want to ruin their friendship." She says looking into my eyes. 

"Is your brother the only reason you're hesitant to date Paul? If so I can help you there." I say confidently, " Yes Sebastian will be upset but i will be there to help you. I can tell Sebastian for you, that is if you want to date my brother."

I can see her thinking it over before she says," Sebastian will never let me go on a date alone. He will try to tag along and ruin everything."

" I know why don't we make it a double date between you and Paul and Me and Tony. We have been looking for a reason to go out. He has been so busy with college we haven't gotten to go out on a date in a while." I say thinking how its killing two birds with one stone. I want to go out with my boyfriend and she needs a chaperone so Sebastian will let her go out. 

"That is a great idea. I will have to text Paul to meet me after school." She says as her face lights up with joy.

I turn around and unlock the door as she pulls her phone out. After peaking around to make sure no on is in the hallway, I head back to the cafeteria. Sitting down at our table I see Paul look at his phone and smile. I laugh knowing exactly who is texting him.
