Bromance

"Hey baby, how's your day been?" Ashton whispered when I turned to face him as he was about to go to bed. He was up before me, and had been gone the whole day. Apparently he was doing some really important stuff.

"Boring. I cleaned the garage so we can park our cars in there tomorrow."

"What have you been up to today?" I asked before he managed to say anything.

"We wrote a couple of really good songs" he said excitedly, and placed his hands carefully around me.

"What?"

I had no clue what he meant with that. Wrote songs? Who? What for?

He told me about his band, and he was apparently a drummer, Luke was a great singer, Michael was bad ass at guitar, and Calum was a really good song writer.

"Haven't I told you?" he gigged at the end of the explanation.

"No, I had literally no idea. I don't even know who they are" I smiled back.

"What's the band name" I continued.

"We haven't figured it out yet" he laughed, "but 'Bromance' is the best one we've got so far" he finished. I couldn't resist laughing.

"Bromance?" I repeated, and he answered with laughing even more.

"I want to see you guys sometime."

They were so excited about finally showing someone other than their dogs. I sat there watching them, trying to watch everyone equally, but I lost my eyes on Ashton every fifth second. All his faces as he became more and more sweaty, song after song.

Their covers were also really good! The 'Jasey Rae' one was extra good, and I told them that.

"Thank you! It's so cool that you actually like the songs. We don't like them ourselves, but we've got so many views of the covers on YouTube" Michael smiled at me.

"Have you got a YouTube channel?" I giggled. I was so inexperienced about this whole band, thing and it was really confusing. I had no idea how much they had been doing, or what the reactions had been.

"Um, is there a toilet anywhere near?" I asked Michael, as I got up.

"Yeah, up the stairs and to the right," he answered me gently, and I followed his instructions to find the bathroom.

"Guys, I think I know our band name" I heard Ashton say, which made me freeze in the middle of the stairs. They were so excited to hear what he had come up with, but it took Ashton a while to actually say it.

"5 Seconds Of Summer."

My heart stopped. I made my way to the bottom of the stairs, making sure I didn't make one sound. I looked through the hole in the door, and saw that they were standing in a circle in the middle of the room.

"I like that" Calum admitted.

"Yeah, me too," Michael said.

"How did you come up with that?" Luke asked him.

"It took me 5 Seconds to fall in love with summer, and it takes 5 seconds of watching her to realize I'm going to love her more and more every day for the rest of my life," he explained to them, and they looked at each other.

Now I was on my way across the floor, walking in the middle of the four of them and threw my arms around his neck before our lips connected.

His hands found their way to the back of my hips, and he slid his hands underneath my shirt, making his friends complain.

"Ewww"

"I love you so much," I assured Ashton before letting go of him.

"Alright, we're keeping that band name" he told the boys in a surprised tone, and we all laughed.

"But won't it be a bit weird that our band is named after your girlfriend?" Calum asked them all.

"No, it isn't. When I heard it, the first thing I thought of was how shurt the summers really are. Summer has two meanings, remember" Luke told Calum, which made them all think again.
