~7~

Two days went past and Maggie had been skipping more classes simply so she could avoid Cole, the voice would come and go, she had a feeling that it wasn't going to go away any time soon. She was avoiding Cole because she was embarassed and in all honesty, who wouldn't be? She had been shamed in front of her only friend by his own mother, she had been called immoral and was told she had no values. She was starting to believe her though, all she does now is dwell on her own sadness, drink, smoke and skip school. Thats not really showing the behaviour of somebody who does have morals and values. Maggie had also made a promise to herself the first day she met Cole that she would not ruin him and she was aleady doing so, letting him skip with her, letting him drink. He would've never done those things if it weren't for her and her bad influence on him. At this moment Maggie was just lying on her back staring at the ceiling, it was Saturday and to be honest Maggie was thankful that her and Cole hadn't exchanged numbers, because, knowing him, he probably would've tried contacting her on multiple occasions.

"Maggie! Lunch is ready and your Damon's here" She heard her fathers voice call upstairs.

"Coming" she shouted back getting up off her bed and making her way down stairs.

As she got closer to the dining room the smell of carbonara pasta became stronger and her mouth began to water, she wasn't as thrilled about her brother being there however as they hadn't spoken since the day at the carpark. When she entered the dining room, everybody was sitting at their seats and the only space available was next to Damon which she reluctantly took, acting as if it didn't faze her.

Thier mother, April decided to breah the odd silence "So, Damon how your flatmate?"

Damon shrugged "He's a pain in the ass to be honest, doesn't clean up, invites random people over without asking if its alright with me first and has really loud sex, god and he never showers. It sucks"

"You should move back home, at least until you find a good flatmate or a nice place to stay by yourself" April has a mouthful of food and continues talking "I'd love to have my boy back"

Maggie rolled her eyes and stayed silent, she didn't really want Damon back but she knew that if he agreed, nothing Maggie said would change that. She watched Damon's facial expression change as he thought about it, then, after several seconds he spoke.

"You know what? That sounds like a great idea, I'll ring him after this" He then looked over at Maggie and gave her a smile "Gives me more time to hang out with my little sister as well"

Maggie rolled her eyes, he knew that this is one of the last things she wanted happening, thats why he made that comment. Roughly two weeks ago Maggie would've wantedd nothing more than for her big brother to be back in the house again but now, after that all that bullshit that went down, she still didn't necessarily want to speak to him at all. Maggie didn't have a very big apetite that day and after two mouthfuls of food she was ready to go back and hide away in her room once more.

"I'm full, can I leave?" Maggie asked in a monotone voice.

"You've barely touched your lunch, you can eat a bit more can't you?" Her father spoke.

She shrugged her shoulders "I feel sick"

"Okay then darling, go relax in your room, call out if you need anything" Dylan spoke again.

Maggie nodded before getting up and going back to her room. She slept for the rest of the day.

Maggie had woken back up at nine, she felt like crap and remembered the bottle of whiskey that was currenty still in her school bag. There was still a little more than half left, more than enough to get absolutely shit faced from. The last time she drank it- the last time she saw Cole -she had spread the drinking out longer, therefore not actually getting properly wasted. But right now her aim was to drink as much as possible in a short amount of time, so she began, sculling back thee drink until she was sure she'd find it hard to walk.
