Chapter 51 wonders and attacks

Harry shot his stunner at Cecilia. Who reflected it but barely. She looked at Harry with a bit more fear than when she had been mocking him. Spells were flying over and over. Before the whole group knew what was going on the order and DA went into action and stunned 5 of the students from the dark arts group. Draco who had waited for this moment stunned the guy next to him and started duelling with another. The rest of the group were so shocked that the one who they thought was the best of the whole group was fighting for the enemy and had spied on them that they lost the will to fight and dropped their wands. Draco was fighting with a seventh year Slytherin who looked at him with so much loathing that it even scared Draco a bit. "You filthy spy." The seventh year sneered at Draco. "What will your father say when he finds out that you were spying for Potter." Cecilia who heard this just lost it. After a spell barrage at Harry she turned and shot the killing curse at Draco. Harry who had stopped the last spel could now see what was happening turned on the spot and apperated infront of Draco. Ginny who was at the other end form the corridor screamed Harry's name and came from her hiding place. What she than could see was not something she would ever forget. Harry infront of Draco with the green light of the killing curse speeding towards him. She was gonna loose him after al the suffering that she had to endure last year and now finally she was with the man she loved she was gonna loose him to some stupid girl who had this believe in the dark arts and thought Voldemort had been some kind of hero. Harry just stood there infront of Draco who stood frozen on the spot, everybody for that matter were frozen. Harry just had apperated inside of Hogwarts. What than happened nobody will ever believe. Harry started casting a shielding charm but he was not doing the normal wand movement he was circling his wand. Than he screamed another proteco and held out his other hand. What Draco than saw was nothing but a miracle. From the wand came a shield he had never seen but from Harry's hand came something that looked like a gold vapor that serounded the green from the killing curse. Harry just caught the killing curse in his hand. He looked with such a fury at Cecilia she thought he would throw it back at her to kill her. Harry threw the spell at the wall were it left a burning mark. He raised his wand directly to Cecilia and with a flick they both were gone. "HARRY!!!" Ginny screamed before she, Ron, Hermione and Minerva also disapeard. The rest left in the corridor wanted to scatter but were stopped by the DA and the order along with Draco. The seventh year who had fought Draco before now wanted to resume their fight. Draco just had time to raise a shield. "Lets see if you can hold your own now Potter isn't around to safe you." The Slytherin sneered at Draco. "I don't need Harry to safe me from you." Was all Draco said. He than raised his wand and started the attack on his housemate. Draco before they had been interrupted had only been testing his opponent. He now knew that he was easy to defeat. So when he had diverted a spell shot at him. He looked at his opponent and smiled. "Now you go down." He said. Draco started a barrage of spells that nobody had seen before he was so fast it looked like he didn't even moved his hand to do the wand movements. When he stopped he could see the fear in his opponent. What Draco had not seen was that in the time he was firing spell after spell the Slytherin had to redo his shield 3 times because Draco had chattered it. "Come on. Fight than!!" Draco yelled at his opponent. That little provocation was just what Draco had needed. The seventh year Slytherin raised his wand to attack but by doing so also lowered his shield. "Stupefy" Draco screamed and the student fell to the spell. Draco turned to the members of the order and DA. He could see pride in the eyes of the teachers there and the loathing that he normally would see in his fellow students had changed in appreciation.

He looked around and didn't see Harry or the others. "Where is Harry??" He asked.

Harry and the others reappeared in the great hall every student who was there screamed and ran out. The teachers didn't know what to do. Ginny wanted to get beside Harry but Cecilia would not have that. She shot a killing curse and Ginny had to drop so she would not got hit. This was a mistake as now Harry would not let her go anywhere but Azkaban. "You'll pay for that bitch." He said is a tone that did not hide his anger. Cecilia only smiled, she had found Harry's weak spot. She shot another curse to Harry and she turned around and shot another killing curse at Ginny. Harry just reflected the curse she had send at him when he saw the killing curse going towards Ginny who was still laying on the ground. "NO!!" He screamed and he put a shield over Ginny. Cecilia laughed at the attempt as everybody knows the killing curse can't be blocked. The great hall was silent for the moment the curse needed to reach Ginny. Ginny only could look at Harry with tears in her eyes as she would loose him still. When the spell hit the shield everybody could see that it passed it and hit Ginny. Cecilia started screaming in joy. That joy was short lived as Ginny looked at Harry as she could not believe what just had happened. She just had been hit by the killing curse and still she was alive. That was not possible. "That's for killing the dark lord, Potter. How does it feel to loose the one you love." Cecilia was taunting Harry. Harry who had seen Ginny be hit thought he had lost her. His heart was screaming in pain. He turned to Cecilia and his eye were not the normal emerald green. The were dark very very dark. He raised his wand and started shooting spell after spell after spell. "I will tell you how it feels." He said, his voice with fury and hurt. " You will wish you never were born when I am done with you. You were waiting for the new dark lord to rise but you will be of no use to him" Cecilia had to shield herself but also change position every second as the spells Harry shot at her were so powerful that she could only take 2 hits on her shield and it would collapse. "I did nothing to you but still you kill the woman I love and who would be my wife and the mother of my children." Harry said to Cecilia with more fury in his voice than anybody had heard in him before. "You did nothing to me?!" Cecilia said. "Because of you I was hit with a curse and landed in st. Mungos for 3 months." She sneered at him. That just was not the thing to say to Harry as he could not help it he was attacked that day in the three broomsticks. This only made him more angry. He also knew he needed this to end or he would kill her and he needed to get to Ginny to see her and hold her before she was taken away from him forever. Harry apperated behind Cecilia put his wand in her back and said. "I am sorry for that day but I was attacked I did not attack you." He than stunned her. The spell was so powerful that Cecilia flew almost across the great hall but she didn't hit the wall so she would be fine. After Harry had stunned her he ran to Ginny to hold her but she he reached her with tears in his eyes. He could not believe what he was seeing. Ginny who sat with Ron and Hermione at her side. When Ginny saw Harry running towards her she got to her feet. The whole great hall was silent. Everybody was in shock that Ginny was alive as everybody had seen the killing curse hit her. Harry wrapped her in his arms and cried. "I thought I lost you. I could see the curse hit you. I thought I lost you." He kept saying the last part over and over again. Ron and Hermione who was also crying hugged their friends and sister. They could not believe that Ginny was alive. When Harry got over the first shock he let Ginny go and stepped back. "How is this possible?" He asked. "I could see the curse hit you." Minerva who had also ran over looked at Harry. "Please call Poppy," He asked the headmistress. "And get that bitch out of my sight or I still might kill her." He than hugged Ginny again. "I thought I lost you." He whispered in her ear. The stunned body of Cecilia was transported to a small room at the side of the great hall to hand her over to the aurors. The room was guarded by order members and also some of the DA would stand guard. Poppy Pomfrey came running in the great hall when she heard Ginny needed her. "Ginny what happened?" She asked as she pushed Ron and Hermione aside so she would be able to scan Ginny. "You wouldn't believe it when I told you." Ginny told her. "Please just scan her for everything."Harry pleaded. Madam Pomfrey looked at Harry and she could see the fear in the young mans eyes. She started scanning Ginny for the most common curses and even the crusiatus curse, but didn't find anything. She did find however a small trace of a spell that she never had seen on a living person and she knew that if Ginny was hit by that spell she would not be standing here. She was loosing some of her patience and took matters in her own hands. "Allright you two. What kind of spell hit Ginny as I can see that you are both scared to death by something." She said as stricked as she could. When she mentioned the word death she could see both Harry and Ginny flinch. This could not be true "I was hit by the killing curse." Ginny said in a small voice, before she broke down and Harry wrapped his arms around her. "Can you take my hand please" He asked Madam Pomfrey. The school nurse did as was asked but didn't understand why. When she blinked with her eyes she was back in the hospitalwing. "What in Merlin's name is going on here." She asked. "I apperated us here as I wanted you to check Ginny again but thoroughly this time and with the knowledge that she was hit by the killing curse." Harry told here. The painting in the office of the nurse had been listening in and she disappeared straight from her painting.

Madam Pomfrey went straight to work but she wanted some answers later. How was this young man able to apperate inside the castle, but what amazed her the most was the fact that Harry and Ginny both told her that Ginny had been hit by the killing curse. If it had been a joke one of them would crack in the end but both kept serious and well afraid. She checked and checked again. Nothing was wrong with Ginny.

The amount of residue she picked up earlier from the killing curse was also lower and lower each time and within an hour or so it would not even register anymore. "Ginny I want you to stay here tonight just to be sure but everytime I check you the Killing curse residue is harder to detect. Now please tell me what happened as there is only one person we both know that survived the killing curse and that young man is standing here beside me." Madam Pomfrey said to both teens. "Ginny looked at Harry and both were relieved to hear this. "Is there any damage at all?" Harry asked. Madam Pomfrey looked at Harry and she could still see the worry in his eyes. "No Mr. Potter. " She said to Harry's relief. "I just want Miss Weasley stay at the Hospital wing to keep an extra eye on her. There is nothing to worry about." She could see Harry relax. "Can you please tell me why you are saying that a killing curse hit Miss. Weasley and I could detect that spell around her chest but well as we all can see Miss. Weasley is still with us." Madam Pomfrey asked again. "Because that is what happened and the spot where Miss Weasley was hit." came the voice from Minerva McGonnagal. "I wouldn't believe it myself Poppy but I have seen it with my own eyes. Harry tried to shield Ginny but the spell went right trough his shield and hit her right in the chest." Madam Pomfrey looked at McGonnagal who came walking over with Ron, Hermione at her side. "Please also check Harry's magic level as he preformed a small miracle in the corridor by catching a killing curse directed at Draco Malfoy." Madam Pomfrey looked from Minerva to Harry and back several times before she went back to Ginny and started another sets of scans. "You are free to go Ginny." Madam Pomfrey said. She turned to Harry "Now what for strange story is the headmistress telling about you catching a curse." before Harry could answer she started on some scans. "I can't find anything wrong with him. " She said. "His levels are all as I have read them before so his power level is as normal as they were before." Minerva looked at Harry. How did he catch that curse.
