Faethfully His Girl

Chapter 3

Sam opened his eyes; yawning and stretching out his arms. We took our bags and went off the plane.We went out of the airport.

"Angel! Sophie!" Mica said as she saw us coming towards her. She was standing beside her Lamborghini car. "Hey sis." Sophie said. They hugged longly;missing each other. 

We got into her car. She drove along the street. I looked out the window;smiling. My birthplace.

Sam was listening to his MP3. After a few minutes, he took off one of his ear phones and put it into my ear. He was playing "Miles by Christina Perri"; which is my favorite song ever!

We arrived at a lodge. We got out of her car and walked towards the house. Mica's butlers were opening the entrance door for us. Her house had a big garden, white walls that looked majestic and beautiful.

"Woah." i heard Sam say. "Beautiful huh?" Mica said; smirking proudly. I rolled my eyes. Her and her big house, or probably mansion. 

Angel! Angel! i heard the birds say. I could talk to animals since i was 5 years old.

Angelica and her guardian, Antonio were hanging out at a wide opening of a meadow. Her guardian was playing the guitar for her; playing her favorite song.

Angelica was trying to draw her love for her guardian under the tree. She loved her guardian because he was the one who always protect her and someday, she thought, she would be the  one to protect him.

Suddenly they heard a growl. They looked up and saw a grizzly bear beside Antonio. Antonio frozed and whispered to Angel,"Run.". Antonio held his place; hoping the bear would go somewhere else and not bother them.

But it didn't. Instead, it snarled and leapt onto Antonio; clawing his cheeks, giving only cuts and not torn off of his face.

'This is my territory!' she heard a voice said. She tried to find the source of the voice. And realised it was the bear's. So, she walked to the bear. "No! Angel, go! Run from here!" Antonio tried to say. But she shook her head.

"I love you Antonio. And I'm going to protect you." she said; shockingly mature and confident. "Are you the one who said something?" Angel said to the bear. The bear looked up from its prey. 

'You understand me?' the bear asked. Angel nodded. "Will you please leave us alone? We promise we will go." Angel said; holding out her pot of honey that were supposed to be eaten with the loaf of bread they brought.

The bear went off of Antonio. "Antonio." Angel said; hugging her lovingly guardian. "You talk to animals?" Antonio said. "I guess i did. Is it wong?" she said; back to her childishness. "No. No it's not wrong. I'm glad you are okay. I love you so much." Antonio said; hugging her. 

Angel started getting their first-aid kit and helped to wipe his blood away. She bandaged his cheek; Antonio moaning with pain. The bear was still there; under the tree, enjoying the honey. 

Antonio was just 18 years old and taking care of Angel was really hard. He was assigned to take care of her; the princess of Magica.

I smiled. I missed Antonio. I shouldn't have left him like that. Mica showed us to our rooms. My room overviewed the big man-made lake. I loved it. 

As soon as Mica left my room to show the others their room, i closed and locked the door. I took out my phone and switched it on. 5 text messages, 2 missed calls. All from Antonio. I opened the forst text message:

ANGEL, WHERE ARE YOU? TELL ME WHAT HAS HAPPENED AND I WILL COME.

The second one:

ANGEL, ARE YOU AT ROME? I'M GOING TO COME. I PROMISE TO PROTECT YOU. I KNEW WHAT YOUR MOTHER HAD DONE TO YOU. KRISTA TOLD ME. ACTUALLY, I PLEADED KRISTA TO TELL. 

I texted back:

Yes, do come. I'm sorry i didn't tell you. I'm at Mica's mansion. You know the place right?

I pressed sent. After 2 seconds, i got back:

Yes, i knew.  And it's okay. 

I smiled. I loved Antonio, he's really protective and he's the one who got into so much trouble just for me. And my lovely royal parents? I sighed. 

Wolf. Big bad wolf. a bird say; landing onto my windowpane. I stood up from my bed. "Where?" i asked. The garden, the garden. It's gonna eat your friends, your friends. 

I threw my phone onto my bed and went out of the mansion. I ran to the garden and found a wolf the size of a human snarling at my friends. "Stop!" i said; speaking in wolf language. Aha, and are you my dinner tonight? "No, i'm not. And never will." i said. 

I have come from Ohio. And the name's Jacob Winter. I gasped. "Jacob?" i said. I walked towards Jacob the wolf. I got bitten by a wolf when i was walking in a forest. Didn't know that it was actually a werewolf. And,uh, sorry i'd  scared the guts out of your friends. Tell them i'm not gonna eat them. 

"Uh, okay." i said; wolf language."He's Jacob Winter. He's not going to eat you." i said in English again. 

"Jacob?" they all said in unison. I gulped in a laugh. God. I thought they only did that in TV shows. 

Mica looked like she just had a crush on Jacob. Ugh. She has a crush on every guys in the world. Except the nerds honestly. I laughed internally. 

They all went into the house. Me and Jacob were just walking around the house. A half werewolf half faerie? Woah, that's so unusual. I knew about the bethrothal. And i came because i knew you wouldn't want it to happen. "You know, can you change to your human form? Seriously, the butlers and passers-by are gonna freak out if they saw me talking to a werewolf." i said; smirking. 

Okay. Wait here.Jacob sprawled into the forest by the lake. I sat on the swing at the garden. "You okay there? He doesn't hurt you right?" Sam said from his window. I looked up. "I'm fine." i said. He sighed; nodding and closed the curtains, giving me privacy as Jacob walked up and helped swinging me.

He was wearing his custom long-sleeved shirt and his black denim jeans. "So did you came here to go to Magica too?" i asked him. "Yes." he simply said. 

"So i guess we're both going to convince my mom not to bethroth us,huh?" i said. The unjustice in this world. "Yep. Guess so." he said;sighing. Uh, is he hoping i would be married to him? Hm. Same old Jacob Winter.

Then, we heard a car pulling into the driveway. Antonio. I jumped up and ran to the driveway. Antonio was just closing the door when i ran up to him and hugged him. "Angel. Hey girlie.' Antonio said. "God, i missed you.'' i said. 

"Um, it has only been a day only?" he said, sneering. He hugged my back and lifted me up. I laughed crazily. Sam, Sophie and Mica came out of the house. Antonio let go of me; simply putting his arm around me.

"Uh, hey, A." Sophie said sheepishly; scared if Antonio's going to be mad at her. Don't be mad at her. i told Antonio; telepathing. Sure. 

'"Soph." Antonio said; smiling his infectious smile. I thought i heard Sophie sighed in relief. Hm, probably my imagination. "Hey, guys." Antonio said. "And girls." Mica added; smirking. "Yeah yeah whatever." he said. I laughed. Him and his humor.
