"Even though we have the mind of a human, but deep inside our soul, we still longed for the freedom of a beast. Turning was our most feared moment, when a Hunter could no longer fight the darkness in our minds, we turn into mindless, bloodthirsty killing machines."
I headed home as soon as the final bell rang. When I arrived home, I decided to contact Dee right away and inform him about my plan to kidnap Xiumin. After I put my things away, I took out my cell phone and dialed his number. I waited.
"Hello, who is this?" Dee spoke with a little bit of a muffle followed by the sound of swallowing, he must have been eating.
"This is 14 speaking," I said and paused for Dee to finish eating. "I am calling to inform you that I've planned a way to capture the twelve males. Be ready with reinforcements at all times. I will lure Exo to the capture location anytime this week," I said and immediately regretted my own words. I shouldn't have told Dee everything since there was a possibility that it wasn't the real Dee on the line. I shivered remembering the experience with the fake phone call.
"Have they caused any trouble lately that made you decided to catch them?" Dee questioned.
I felt a chill run down my back. "You were the one who gave me the orders to capture them. Dee, you called me yesterday and said that my prior job is to lure Exo members to the assigned location."
Dee's voice shivered as he spoke, "I did not assign you to lure them anywhere. I clearly remember calling you in the morning and telling you to stay put and find out more about them."
"You did, but you called again at night and changed your mind. You told me to lure them to the experimenting ground on the edge of the city..." I said and trailed off, unable to comprehend the situation.
"I don't know what's going on. There must be someone messing with us. I'll put another Hunter to figure who is messing the lines. But since you said you had a plan to lure them, let's just round them up. Maybe they'll have some important information about IT, or one of them might even be IT," Dee said after a brief moment of consideration.
"Okay, so the mission will go as planned, even though it wasn't you who assigned me the mission. But what if Exo aren't bad people?" I asked.
"If they are not, we will determine their motives and try to work with them," Dee responded.
"I understand. I will do my best to lure them to the experiment field. Be prepared, I will contact you before they arrive."
The line was quiet for a second, I waited, and Dee's voice came back, but sounding weaker than before. "Okay. Abi, I'm not feeling too great right now... I've been forgetful lately and my mood just changes too quick. Also, I've been feeling icky, I think all the work with IT is stressing me out..."
I softened my tone, "Why don't you rest a little for the next few days. Take care of yourself. I'll leave you alone for now. See you soon." After hanging up, I put my phone down with an uneasy feeling in my gut.
I made pasta for dinner, it wasn't that good but hey, at least it was warm. After eating, I polished all my knives and daggers. That took a long time because I seriously had way too many weapons. Having weapons around me was the only way for me to feel secure when I was alone.
When I finished with my weapons, I decided to prepare the things I need to capture Xiumin which included tranquilizer darts, and some GHB powder (date rape drugs). I hid the tranquilizer darts in my hidden sweater pocket. For the date rape drug, I concealed them in a slice of well decorated slice of cake which I would be feeding to Xiumin. Double checking all my things, I smiled in satisfaction and decided to go to sleep and rest well for my mission.
