This case ended, everything ended. IT was successfully exterminated on the spot. However, nobody considered this as a happy ending or dared to smile, because the hero who accomplished the mission wasn't in this world anymore.

All twelve boys cried out in shock as they watched as Abi's body was ripped open by IT's monstrous claws. She sacrificed herself to prevent any more innocents from getting murdered by that beast, she did it for the sake of mankind.

Lay examined her body and told the members that her breathing stopped and so did her heart. The scene was devastating. Most of her stomach tissues were torn and her ribs were broken. Quite a few of her other organs were also severed. The healer tried his best and recovered her organs and mended her broken bones, and they bleed seized a lot.

Sobbing quietly, Kris held Abi's torn body in his arms while the others gathered around him. Her fresh warm blood still ran out from her open wound, staining the tall man's light grey jacket. They headed away from the factory and took shelter in a nearby shack that no one used.

Once they all entered the small shack, Kris looked at the body in his arms and sobbed. "Why? Why, Abi? You didn't deserve this, you should have let go and ran away when I told you to, you shouldn't have held IT down by yourself. You stupid girl, why?!"

Kris's outburst of sorrow caused all the other boys to stumble back. His shoulders shook as tears started to leak from his tightly shut eyes.

"Hey, calm down a little. I understand how you feel, we all do," Tao said gravely and patted the elder's back gently, trying to comfort him.

Kris slowly opened his eyes, but when his gaze turned on to the dead Hunter, he once again lost control, "It's my fault Abi died. I knew she was going to get hurt but I did nothing. I am such a coward. I stood there in fear as I watched her get torn apart!" He yelled in rage and regret.

Seeing Kris under such an immense amount of pain, everyone just kept quiet and silently mourned in their hearts.

After a few minutes, Kris finally looked up and wiped his red swollen eyes. Letting out a shivered sigh, he calmly started speaking, "How could she have thrown her life away like that?" He said and held back the tears before continuing to speak. "Doesn't she have any desires in life? Doesn't she have anyone she cares about? Most of all, how can she give up the pleasure of living so easily?"

The other members nodded in agreement.

"Yes, she was such a brave young girl. I would never give up my life, not even under this situation. Hunters are very honorable and selfless, they have officially earned my respect," Chanyeol confessed soberly.

After few more minutes of dead silence, Luhan spoke up. "I understand her choice," he stated, earning a few glances from the others. "I understand why she decided to sacrifice her life without a second thought. Abi is a Hunter, she has been trained under all harsh conditions. She was taught that this was the right choice, suicide missions are not uncommon as a Hunter," Luhan said and paused to look at everyone. "Listen guys, I know I don't look like I'm in mourning, but the truth is, I've felt sad for Abi's life as soon as I met her. As you guys all know, in my childhood years, I was also brought up like a Hunter and trained along side them, so I understand what it's like for Abi."

"Now that I think about it, you've never really talked about it before," Sehun said.

Luhan smiled sadly, "At a very young age, Hunters are taken from their family to prevent love and the emotions from being developed. To Hunters, feelings are weakness, it is useless and often gets in the way of a mission," Luhan explained.

"That's why it was so hard for us to get close... Dude, I can't believe you never told us before," Kai said.

Luhan raised his hand gesturing him to shush. "Of course, Hunters receive extremely harsh training before they get assigned a number. They aren't given names, because as a Hunter, they need to understand the fact that they are worthless and don't deserve the individuality of names. The numbers are just a way to identify them and organize them. Other than the hard physical training, they also learn about the human society and the Hunter knowledge they need to survive. Most of all, every Hunter gets brainwashed, they're taught that no one cared for them, they have no rights and they are nothing. Their one and only purpose to stay alive is to follow the orders given by the Organization. As you all can imagine, Abi couldn't really have enjoyed life, could she?"
