Chapter 2: Initiation

I woke up in a warm bed and I jumped out of the bed scared looking everywhere in the room. I ran to the door to see what was going on and I see an old man meditating in a huge fountain it looked beautiful, the soft summer zephyr hitting me with the comforting sounds of nature and the fountain. I ran to the old man and I grabbed him by the shoulder and said:

-Excuse me but how did I get here and where exactly, is here?-

He calmly replied:

-You were chosen from thousands of slaves to be rescued by the Shadow's Fate-

-What is the Shadow's Fate? - I said as I was sitting confused in front of the fountain with him

-We are a secret organization that brings justice from the glooms, here you will learn wisdom and martial arts and you will be train in the ways of an assassin to bring justice and salvation to those in need- the old man replied

I didn't knew what to say I was scared and I freaked out I quickly stand up asking many question:

-How did I end up here? Do I have to kill people like the demon I saw that night? Do I have to do this without a choice?-

And then a voice appeared out of nowhere and said:

-Our sword kills those who make the world a worst place-

Then I see three Assassins appeared out of nowhere, everyone with masks with capes and lots of blades, they looked at me taking their masks off revealing to me:

I couldn't believe who one of them was...

My friend Derick was one of the assassin's

A girl with blue eyes and blue hair appeared to be an archer

And the one who saved me that night was the leader...

They told me that Serity was going to some rough times and explained to me why was the organization founded and what's their vision of the future, they told me I was chosen from thousands of slaves and that I had the talent. They wanted me to join the guild and become an Assassin.

First I thought it was crazy I didn't knew what to say I was going to go on a walk to think about it but as soon as I walked away the leader grabbed my shoulder and gave me a gray mask and said:

-You're a wanted man now, be careful out there-

I went for a walk thinking about it but there was only one question in my mind:

-Do I become an assassin and rescue Elizabeth?-

Then I was determined, I went back to the hideout making sure I wasn't followed and entered.

I saw the assassins on the shadows and told them I decided to join the guild to rescue Elizabeth, they said I could join but I couldn't go save her until I was done with training and killing targets with them first. I joined the guild and I was really nervous, after a month of training and meditating they decided I was ready for my first mission with them. I was really nervous but at the same time I felt calmed I only had Liz in my head and if I had to kill some bad guys to get to her so be it, I got my clothes on and put my mask on also, I was ready for my first mission...
