Chapter 13: The Truth

I wake up after a few days of sleep and recovering, Tanaka was at my side sleeping again and I wake her up by playing with her hair and said:

-Wake up sleepyhead, did you stayed here all night again?-

She was so cute waking up and said still tired:

-Yeah......I did, I was just making sure you were all better-

And she smiles at me

I look at her smiling and said:

-Thanks for taking that arrow for me, my whole life flashed in that moment I thought once more it was my time...and thanks for taking care of me and being with me all this recent nights to make sure I recover-

Tanaka smiles gets up the bed and was going to go out and I stop her and said:

-Hey, Tanaka...remember when you kissed me?-

Tanaka ignores me smiling and says:

-I'm going to buy some things for dinner bye Reckzy-

She ran to the door smiling and I just lay on my bed again thinking about that dream and when Tanaka left I said to myself:

-Could it be possible that she loves me?-

After a few hours we got together for dinner and Tanaka sat close to me eating candy and said:

-Want some Reckzy?-

I, surprised said:

-Sure! Mmm...Thank you Tanaka it was really sweet and tasty but....shouldn't you be eating something else other than candy?-

As Tanaka was about to talk the apprentice said laughing:

-Wow Reckzy you have made a big impact on her-

I, confused because I didn't know what he was talking about replied:

-What do you mean?-

Tanaka nervously said aiming with her bow to the apprentice:

-You should shut up!-

The apprentice calmly said:

-She doesn't share her candies with absolutely no one...and yet she came to you and gave you some-

Tanaka shoots the arrow and the leader grabs it in a blink of an eye and says:

-You two...stop with your nonsense, and apprentice...don't interfere with Tanaka's crush-

And the leader starts laughing with the apprentice and mocking Tanaka and she was really embarrassed and sad I stood up grab Tanaka's hand get her up and said:

-Thank you for the candy, I really enjoyed it and you're an amazing girl...perhaps I can give you a chance one day-

She started crying and runs away to the city and I said to the leader and apprentice:

-Well done fellas...-

I put my mask and went after her to the city...
