Brooke's POV

"Why didn't you tell me anything about you being blessed by the Flash?"Annabeth whispered to Percy as we walked along the streets of Manhattan.

"I didn't know until today"Percy said shrugging like it's no big deal.

"Bu-"

"Annabeth.When we finish this quest you can ask as many questions as you want...or if we get to a hotel.Your chose"I said facing Annabeth.

"Fine"Annabeth grumbled.

Once we turned a corner I felt something evil nearby.It's probably a monster.

"Guys?"I said slowly as I stopped.

"What's wrong Brooke?"Jason asked.

"I feel something evil around here"I said.Someone then bumped into me I saw that it was a women running away along with more people and I heard many screams behind me.

I heard a man yell.

"WHAT ARE LIONS DOING HERE?!?!"

I turned around and saw at least a dozen hellhounds coming our way.

"Ummm..Percy.By any chance can you like...get us out of here...or at least you Brooke or Nico"Leo asked as he was looking to the left.

When I looked towards the left I saw more hellhounds coming along with some harpies.

"Ok Jason,Nico,Leo take the north side"I said as I pointed towards the pack of hellhounds."Me,Annabeth,and Percy will take the west side"

"Got it"Jason said.Then he flew up in the air while Nico and Leo ran towards the hellhounds.

Leo kept on burning them while Nico raised a small army of maybe 20 skeletons.He took out his black sword and started to attack the hellhounds.

"Ok let's go beat some monster....PERCY SERIOUSLY?!"I yelled as he used his speed to attack the monsters.

"He'll be out like a light once we killed all the monsters....or he'll black out when he runs into a building"I told Annabeth.

"Yeah.Now you know why I call him Seaweed Brain"Annabeth said as she started to run towards the group of monsters.

I sighed and ran after her.I wasn't using my speed yet I passed her in a matter of seconds.

If you spent your entire life running..well you get faster.I can run at least 20 miles or more if I have had plenty of rest and ate plenty of food.And that's when I'm not using my powers.

But back to business.

I saw Percy kill another hellhound until he stopped and fainted.

Idiot.

"Percy!"I yelled as I shot an arrow towards a harpy that was gonna grab him.

I looked down at the bow in my hand confused.

How did I get this?,I thought.

When I looked at my bracelet I saw that the bow and arrow charm is gone.

I heard Annabeth scream my name before everything turned black.

-Annabeth's POV-
(Finally!)

"BROOKE!!"I screamed before a hellhound hit her and made her hit the wall.

I attacked and killed the hellhound and I killed the other hellhound that was gonna pounce at Percy.

Wow.Both my boyfriend and his little sister are out cold leaving me to fight alone....great.I thought sarcastically.

Then I felt heat pass my ear and then Leo was next to me.Nico just ran ahead and attacked all the hellhounds and harpies and Jason flew towards some harpies that were close to Percy and Brooke.
