Getting new powers

Misty's POV

Somehow when we were running towards the arena I started laughing because I started to remember a happy moment me and Brooke use to have when we were kids.

~Flashback~

It was our 56th time getting adopted.This family lived in the middle of the woods.They treated us perfect.

As if we were their own children.

In this family the mother was gonna have a baby boy in a few weeks and they had 2 children.Stephanie and Alexander.

We were outside of the house playing tag while our adoptive mom was on the chair on the porch watching all of us.

It was a beautiful day in Colorado.With the sun out,no clouds to be in sight,and all of the birds chirping away the April morning.

Our adoptive dad was chasing our adoptive siblings while me and Brooke were hiding on the side of the house.

Then Stephanie and Alexander ran past us and 'dad' found us.We screamed and ran away laughing.

Me and Brooke were running side to side then I felt a hand around my waist and pick me up.Suddenly we were spinning and we were going back to the house.

When we got there I felt 'dad' turn me upside down.Me and my twin were laughing and when we were on the porch.

Alexander grabbed me,put me down,and started tickling me.Brooke started screaming and laughing at the same time.

Then Stephanie did the same thing to her and we started to laugh until we couldn't make a sound but we were still laughing.

Then the next day was when everything changed but I was brought out of my flashback before it came on.Which I'm glad of.

~End of flashback~

I suddenly heard Brooke laugh when we entered the arena.

I saw Nico talking with Percy and I suddenly got a crazy idea.

Brooke already knew what I was thinking as we ran towards them and tackled Percy down.

When we tackled him down he screamed a girly scream.

We both laughed as we got off of him.

"Wow brother.What a manly scream?"Brooke said sarcastically starting to crack up.

I then started to laugh really hard that I fell to the ground clenching my stomach.

"....Yeah.So manly...."I said in between laughs.

"Yeah yeah laugh all you want.But when did you two get out of the infirmary and why are you here"Percy said.

"What can't we see our brother after blacking out?Or at least after I blacked out first...But that's not the point.We came here because Brooke needs to tell someone something"I said crossing my arms over my chest looking at Brooke.

"I was getting to that mom"she said with sass.

I just jumped up and put my most innocent face ever.

Brooke shifted her feet but then gave me a poker face and flicked my head.

"Ow...dude really"I said rubbing the spot where she flicked me.

"Whatever"Brooke said rolling her eyes then she faced the guys and said"Anyways we came here because I want..wait no need to apologize to Nico.Ugh do I have to Misty?"she asked facing me.

"Yup"I said.

"Ugh fine"she said."Listen Nico I'm sorry for everything that I have done to you"

"And?"Nico said.

I felt my heart melt but I shook it off.

"And I'm sorry for calling you names"Brooke finished.

"Great now I'm going to the beach to just hang out"I said walking off.

-Brooke's POV-

When Misty left I turned towards Percy and Nico and I saw Nico starring at Misty.

I wanted to snap at him or slap him but I thought I should do something first.

I practically dragged Percy away and when we were far enough I said.

"Does Nico have a crush on Misty?"

Percy stood there shocked and said"I hope not because a daughter of Poseidon and a son of Hades.Well let's just say it won't end well and also their practically cousins"he said.

"Yeah true and if he does I will beat the sh-"

"Don't say it Brooke.Ok sometimes I wonder why we are related"Percy said interrupting me.

I then suddenly felt a tingling feeling in my stomach.As if it's telling me to go do something.

"We're from the same mom and dad and excuse me Percy but I need to go"I then ran away before he could say anything.

I ran towards the woods and went to an open area and I heard someone say......

-Misty's POV-

Once I arrived at the beach I felt a strange feeling in my stomach and I immediately ran towards the woods and went to an open area where I saw Brooke.

"Brooke!?"I said.

She turned around and I ran towards her.

"What are you doing here?"Brooke asked me.

"I don't know I just felt something or someone say to come here.How about you?"I said.

"Same"

-Misty's & Brooke's POV-
(This is what they both feel,do, think,and say at the same time)

Misty.....Brooke.Concentrate on the air around you.....Close your eyes.I heard someone say in my head.

I did as told and I quickly took my twin's hand.

I then felt air underneath me lift me up.I didn't feel the ground anymore.

I released my grip on my twin's hand and opened my eyes to see that we are a few feet off the ground.

"Whoa"I said.

Then I concentrated on the air to take me more higher and the air did.

I was now practically 100 feet off the ground.

"Whoa.....this...is....so......COOL!!!"I said.(Brooke squealing and Misty amazed)

I then told the air to put me on the ground gently.It did as told and another voice spoke up.

Great now hold out your hand and think of fire.

I did as told and a little fire appeared on my hand.

I was really amazed and I extinguished it.

Then daddy's voice spoke in my head.

Great sweethearts.Now think of yourself as water and snap your fingers.

I once again did as told and when I blinked I was really short and I didn't feel my arms or legs.

Then I suddenly thought of an idea and when I thought of that person I was in the arena behind Percy but still water form.

I thought of myself as human form and when Percy turned around to get a water bottle after training with Nico I was instantly human again.

Percy jumped back and screamed once again girly but this time Nico and Annabeth,who was sitting on the bench about to hand Percy the water,screamed also.

"How did you two get here?"Annabeth asked shocked.

"Ummm...."I said.I was so scared that I looked at my twin,nodded, and snapped my fingers turning into water and thinking of the beach where I appeared.

I then transformed into human again.

Oh no.What do I do now?I thought.
