Our employees started coming a week later helping us get everything ready. Gideon knew I was happy and less tired since I now had help and didn't have to worry about anything since we now had more employees to work for us. Things became easier but I still had Sabel and Kaine on my mind, wondering if this whole Inn thing was a bad idea, wondering if everything was a bad idea, winning the lottery...getting this Castle...loving Gideon but there was nothing I can do now I was his and there was nothing I could do to change that.
"Ey, Child something ill's you what is wrong?" Rosa asked touching my side then quickly pulled her hand away as if I burnt her.
"Nothing should be bothering me...yet everything is." I said looking at how the Castle was piecing together for the Grand opening.
"Come Child...come talk to me." Rosa ordered in her soft loving tone. I nodded and followed her outside and sat down on the human hand sculpture that was in the fountain that was now off. "Tell me what ill's you." She added.
"Sable...I mean what if she comes to the Grand opening and...and...takes me?" I asked on the verge of crying.
"That would be bad on her part...that man over there who is your shadow will fight to the death to keep you safe." Rosa said as I too felt Gideon's presence but couldn't see him until I seen his wolf come to the fountain.
"That is what bothers me...I have been thinking what if none of this happened....if we've never won the lottery....would everyone be safe?" I asked as I heard Gideon's low growl protesting me. "I'm not leaving so don't you dare growl at me...lose your attitude." I said glaring at him as he laid his head on my lap.
"I don't think it would have mattered...the witch had already had you in mind for her evil plan. So there is not since of worrying it's not healthy for you and...." Rosa said pausing for a long moment. "And the others." She added as Issy came out with Asgar's wolf at her side.
"Hey...if we are dressing up we need to get our costumes for our Grand opening....we had only a few more day's till Halloween." Issy said as I nodded.
"I don't know what we can go as." I said as Gideon lifted his head and Rosa shook her head no. "What is it?" I asked knowing Rosa could read his mind.
"I think it would be a good idea...it will keep the girls as well as everyone that comes to the Grand Opening safe." Abelle said as she came walking around with Uncle Jeff at her side.
"What the hell is everyone talking about?" I asked raising my voice making Rosa place her hand on my lap barely touching my belly.
"Don't get agitated love." Rosa said. "What he's thinking might be a good idea...he's thinking you girls can go as something that can use the boys as their wolves." She added as I went wide eyed.
"No...no...no...but hell no that is out of the question." I said standing up and heading inside to my office and sat at my desk with my head in my hands.
It wasn't long till I felt Gideon and the others presence in my office.
"I SAID NO!" I yelled as I felt a sharp pain in my back. "IT'S TO DANGEROUS!" I added as Gideon reached out to touch me. I had to jerk away from him. "How the hell could you think of something so stupid like that?" I asked.
"It's not stupid...and we are doing it." Gideon snapped at me. "It's to keep you all and everyone else safe." He added.
"FINE...you do it but I will not have any part of it." I said standing up quickly but had to sit back down since the pain was getting stronger in my back.
"Stormie." Gideon said touching my arm.
"Don't...don't you dare touch me...if you do this I will never forgive you." I said trying to stand up genitally and succeeded. "And if all of you think this is a good idea then the rest of you are stupid as hell...just because the she bitch hasn't messed with us lately doesn't mean she has forgot about us and I have a big deep feeling she will make herself known at the Grand Opening." I added voicing my opinion before storming out of my office and heading to my room.
