Draco's POV

A/N: This time lapse has a big space because nothing happens much to our beloved Dramione (FOR ME). Heartbreaks everywhere ppl. But do not worry, here in Draco's POV, he is going to do all the explaining and stuff. Calm down though; Hermione and Ron aren't married, so is Draco.

***4 YEARS LATER***

It has been a year since the Dark Lord was killed by none other than Harry Potter. Hogwarts is almost finished in reconstructing the whole place. Our batch was exempted and therefore declared as alumni of the school.

After the Yule Ball incident, there was a note left on my bed, the curtains drawn back to let in the moonlight in. I held the note, having beautifully written words. The ironic part of it was the writing itself has brought beauty, but the content was worse than a nightmare.

We had an agreement. No contact, remember? I wasn't kidding before. The payment for tonight's incident will be shown tomorrow on her.

I crumpled the piece of paper. I then remembered that I never even drawn the curtains away from each other.

And sure enough, the torturous note said the truth. I passed by Granger who had a thin slash on her right cheek. Her scar was visible from her beautiful skin complexion.

I laid on my bed, staring mindlessly at the ceiling. I never thought ceilings could be that attractive. Ha! Such a bad joke, Malfoy. A knock on the door has interrupted me.

"Draco, I want to tell you something", my mom said, peeking her head out of the door. I gestured my hand, allowing her to come in and sat the vacant spot as I sit right up next to her. She faced to me, not liking the look on her face. I knew there is an upcoming bad news for me, readying myself for whatever s thrown at me. But it looks like reading myself mentally is not enough.

"We arranged your marriage to your new fiance".
