Draco's POV
"This is it", she meekly murmured. Gesturing her right hand to the room, I gave her a nod similar as to how she spoke a while back. There was something about my Granger and Weasley that smells quite fishy. I've never seen her this devastated whenever she looked at him. Usually, she's all chirpy, giggling and all. Now, all I see is her puffy eyes, probably from crying, and her dark eyebags. This is not their usual routine, even when they fought back at Hogwarts. This called different, in another matter.
I took a step and studied the whole room I'll stay with my flower. It is spacious for one person, however, we bot share this room. I would rate as quite nice; not too spacious, not to crowded. Just right. Dammit, how I wished on that was what I felt for her and whenever she looks at me: just right.
I spread the sheets given to me not too long ago by Mrs. Weasley neatly on the floor. A tender hand stopped me in my actions. "Shouldn't you sleep on the bed?", she asked. To her question, I laughed hard. "Granger, I'm a man. Men should treat ladies nicely. Gentlemen, remember?", I answered her simple yet stupid question. Her next words gaped at me.
"But you're from a rich family. You are a guest, treated with respect and..", before she finishes her sentence, I raise my index finger, purposely making it hit her lips from stopping her babbling. "My mother raised me, Granger. She taught me manners, so better sleep on the bed before I swoop your little ass and kiss you, which I prefer you wouldn't dare to, by the way", I said, chuckling after my response. Her eyes widen in surprise from my selection of words, resulting in making me laugh more. She's just something else.
Once she handed a pillow and a blanket, I thanked her, laying down on my very comfortable mattress. May I add the very obvious sarcasm along. I thought of the familiar ginger hair, which was just there a few meters away from me. Slumber succumbs me soon.
+++++++++++++++++++++
I wake up in the middle of the night. The blanket alone couldn't warm me up from the cold winter approaching. I stood up, seeing the windows closed, yet it hits in the room like you're really outside of a building. I looked to the shivering figure laying on the bed. Shit, Granger!
Swiftly, I ran to her side. She is much colder than I am. Without hesitation, I get the pillow and the two blankets I have. I cover it up on her whole body. She'll get hypothermia if she gets too cold. She must have sensed my commotion, so she mumbles something, "No, you'll get cold".
"Dammit, don't worry about me when you are here, getting hypothermia sooner or later", I replied. She grasped my free arm. "Stay beside me, just for the night. You'll get cold, too. Body heat, remember?", she said. Taking a step further away from her to tell her a no (of course, I am a gentleman), she only tightens her hold. She wouldn't take a no for this one. Sighing, I lay beside her. I cradle her, holding her carefully.
"Good night, Granger".
"Good night, Draco".
My eyes widen. This was the first time she called me Draco.
Heyyyy! I missed you. A lot of school works still coming up, exams week haunting us at this very moment. T^T But anyhow, I love you all so I decided to update. Yiepeeeeee!
