The Joker stopped running for a moment in a dark and grimy alleyway, doubling over and panting loudly. "What.." he wheezed, "what do you want from me?"
A tall figure entered the alleyway behind him, his face shrouded in darkness, a long brown trenchcoat trailing on the ground behind him. "I don't want anything from you," he said, his voice muffled and malicious, "I just want to talk." The figure began to approach The Joker with his hands extended. The Joker stumbled backwards and shuffled towards the end of the alleyway.
"Haahaha...hahaahaaahah...AAAAHAHAHAAAHAHHAHAA!"

"You're certain this is the place?"
"Yes, it has to be here. We followed Harley's directions specifically."
"And has it never occured to you that she may be leading us on a wild goose chase?"
"I-I...Uh-"
"Nightwing. I know you haven't been okay since Jason was taken. It's really affected all of us, but we have to stay focused. Joker might have seen something at the scene of the crime, and we have to find out."
Batman and his ex-partner, Nightwing, stood outside a large, derelict-looking warehouse. Any windows that weren't boarded up were smashed, and the building showed no signs of life inside. However, there was still a thick plume of smoke rising from one of the long chimneys. There was a massive neon green sign perched on top of the building, which read 'ACE CHEMICALS'.
The crime fighting duo discussed their plan of action in the shadow of the factory, but, little did they know, their every move was being watched. A tall, thin man with a wild head of striking green hair was watching them from the roof of the factory. His hideous features were contorted into a sickening grin as he stalked the couple through a set of binoculars. "Battyman...Baaaaaattymaaaaannn..." he murmured, reaching into his pocket and producing a can of spray paint.
