A/N: BTW, this is a short chapter... sorry tho. This story was created due to the lack of fun things to do during my Filipino class. (Yup, I'm Filipino :)) LOL, anyways... ON WITH THE STORY!
When I woke up it was already noon of the next day. I stood up, comb my hair for the first time since ages, took a bath and headed outside. The sun felt foreign on my skin but nevertheless, I continued. I went to the back yard and sat down under the tree. The same tree. He was here sitting beside me and we had the time of our lives. I looked through the window and I expect to see my mother, staring at me and she would give me a sad smile. But there was none. It was strange; they'd never leave without telling me so I inspected our house, finding it empty. Now I was truly on my own but then I heard a faint horse cry. I ran towards the gate and I saw mother and father approaching, our horses' reigns in the hand of my Baba. They were quite surprised when they saw me outside but they gave me a smile and I jogged towards them. When I neared, I saw a third figure with them and I froze into place, my eyes staring at the man behind my parents. He was handsome, I thought but not as handsome as Robert. My eyes found my parents sharing looks I didn't quite understand and my father slowly made his way towards me.
"Chun, my child... you are already past marrying age so your mother and I decided to get you a match. He is Li Wei, the son of my good friend, Li Chen."
