For my very best friend, Vanilla. Here's the update you asked for. So far, you're the only one reading this story of mine. ENJOY!!!
I can't believe my parents. How dare they doubt Robert!? My insides were now boiling with rage. "No! This is my life; you have no right to interfere! Robert will come back... he promised me... he promised..." I started with rage but ended up mumbling those words. He promised me. He'd never leave me. I stood there, frozen in place, not daring to move towards my parents or the man; not even to run towards my room. My fists clenched and my jaws tightly closed, I stared at this man: he was at least a foot taller than me, he has black eyes, like an endless pit, and I have to admit, he is handsome. The only difference between him and Robert was that he wasn't afraid to smile. Even though I was shouting a while ago, he kept calm and he shyly smiled at me. When my eyes moved towards my parents, I felt my anger boiling up again. I let out a frustrated sigh and then stormed off into my room.
I plopped myself down on my bed, still feeling queasy and frustrated. The tears didn't come and I thought to myself 'I'm done with crying.' I stared at the memory box on my table when I noticed that from afar, the box had a tiny slit along the side. It looked like some secret compartment and eventually, I found myself holding the box, running my fingers around the opening. Should I open it or not? I was about to when my so-called fiancé burst into my room, plopped himself on my bed and smiled at me. 'Does this guy have manners at all?' I asked myself. "Hey... I'm Li Wei. You're Hua Chun Yin, right?" Well, for sure now that this guy isn't too shy with people. How many times will you meet a stranger who, by your parents, is now your fiancé, and a stranger who bursts into rooms without knocking? "I know. My parents told me your name a while ago. Anyways, didn't your parents teach you how to knock?" "Well, the wedding is gonna be in 4 months from now so I better make myself feel at home, don't you think?" Okay, now he's pissing me off. Oh God, how am I supposed to live with a stranger who is lacking manners and social skills? "Uh, get out of my room." I ordered him but he just smiled at me. I stood up, opened the door and smiled sweetly to him. "My fiancé, please leave my room." He just looked at me, chuckled and opened the moon cakes Augio gave me. SH*T. This is gonna be a long day.
Yeah... short chapter but I really have to study for quarter exams (especially Math) LOL
Once hell days are over, the chapters will be longer, I promise!
