Chapter 14 "I don't like you"

(5:05pm At The Hospital)

*Mi Jin's POV*

"When can we go home?" I groaned shutting my eyes.

"In a bit sweeie. The doctors are just making sure that you're secure to go home." My dad said while stroking my hair.

"I'm feeling fine. Honest." I lied.

I tried to move my body but just yelped in pain. "Yeah. You're not perfectly fine. Just rest that's the best thing to do." My dad scoffed.

I just rolled my eyes and shut my eyes. I want to get out of this place, as soon as possible.

*Jungkook's POV*

I was at the nearby store getting some of Mi Jin's favorite choclate. I searched for it and finally found it. I got some drinks too and made my way towards the cashier.

"That would be $3.50 sir." The lady said.

I took out my wallet and gave her $5 note. she gave me change and put my stuff in a plastic bag. "Thanks for coming. Have a nice day." She said. I smiled at her and made my way out. I was walking towards the hospital but somebody stopped me.

"Oppaaaaa!" I turned around and saw Sunja running up to me. I decided to keep walking but she tugged on my arm.

"Why are you walking away?" She pouted.

"What the hell do you want Sunja?" I blurted out, moving my arm away from her grip.

"I just wanted to say hi. Is there something wrong?"

I turned around and glared at her. Her face was stuffed with heavy make-up and she just smiled, trying to look innocent.

"Yes, something is wrong." I answered.

"W..what happened.." Her smile started to change shape and she just played with her fingers.

"Well, you see. Mi Jin is in the hospital right now."

"O..oh. wh..at ever happened to her?" She started to go red.

"Don't play dumb with me Sunja." I raised my voice a bit.

"...I...don't know what you're talking about.." She started to back up a bit and I walked towards her even more.

"It's disgusting of the lengths you would go to, just to make one poor girl unhappy!" I shouted out.

"O..oppa. I..." she then looked down and kept quiet.

"I don't like you! Get that through your sick head. I never did and never will." I gave her one last glare and backed away a few steps. "Don't think you can get away with this." I said one last time and started to walk away.

"Then who do you like?!" I heard her yell out.

I stopped walking and turned my body half way. "That doesn't concern you, just know that it's not you."

"Is it that Mi Jin girl?!!" She yelled one more time. I stood there silent but just ignored her and made my way to the hospital. I head her call out my name several times, but just ignored her.

*Mi Jin's POV*

I opened my eyes when the door opened. I tilted my head and saw Jungkook. I smiled and he made his way towards my bed.

"How you feeling?" He asked sitting down on the chair.

"A bit better." I answered. "My dad just went to go talk with the doctors."

"Ah, okay." He said. "I got some of your favourite chocolate." He pulled out a Hersheys chocolate bar from the plastic bag and took out some chocolate milkshake with it.

"Oh my. Yas. Thanks Jungkook." I gave him a big smile and he did the same.

We opened the wrapper and started to eat it between us. After about 2 minutes of laughing and eating the door flung open. Jungkook and I both looked at the door and saw my dad and a nurse. She gave a warm smile and they both walked towards my bed.

"How're you holding up there Mi Jin?" She asked.

"I'm doing fine." I answered giving her a smile.

"That's good to hear. Well I just finished all the documents and tests, and it seems like you're ready to go home." She clapped her hands lightly and smiled.

"Yay. Thank you." I yelled out in joy.

"You can go whenever you're ready." She reassured and walked out of the room.

"Well, let's get going." My dad said.

"I'll just wait outside." Jungkook said whilst putting the food on the table.

I gave him a smile and he closed the door behind him. My dad helped me up and I went behind the curtain to change. I wore my white plain shirt with black pants and white air forces. I tied my hair up in a messy bun and got out of the curtain.

We got our bags and made our way out. Jungkook held onto me while walking and my dad held the bags. We got to the car and I sat at the back seat with Jungkook.

(Time skip cos I can.)

We got inside the house and my dad helped me upstairs to my bed. He placed me softly and took off my shoes.

"Rest honey, okay? You'll take some of your medicine later." He then tucked me in and kissed my forehead.

"I love you dad."

"I love you too princess."

He then made his way out of my room and I fell asleep.

*Jungkook's POV*

I sat on the couch and heard Mi Jin's dad walk down the stairs. He made his way to the couch and sat on the one opposite me.

"Thank you Jungkook for everything." He said.

"Oh its not a problem sir." I gave him a smile and put my fists together.

"Why do you do all of these things for Mi Jin?" He asked me whilst laying back and spread out on of his arms on top of the couch.

"..Well, she's my friend after all." I managed to say.

"Is that the only reason son?"

"I..guess so." I said.

"You're a nice kid. Go on, go home, your mother must be worried." He reassured.

I stood up and shook his hands. "Goodbye then."

"See you at the alter." He smirked. I felt my face go red and made my way towards the door.

I bowed at him and waved before heading out. I closed the door behind me and stood still. Is he right? Is that the only reason why I do all these things for Mi Jin? I mean, it should.....right?
