Chapter 13 "Right by my side"

*JUNGKOOK'S POV*

The ambulance sirens were so loud, you can hear it from a mile away. They came rushing towards the back of the school with those bed things. There were about 3 doctors. They made their way to Mi Jin and checked her pulse and everything. I saw the doctors look at one another woth worried faces. Oh God, please say she's okay.

They then put her on the bed gently and strapped her up. I didn't let go of her hand. She felt so warm, yet looked so cold. Shinyoo was right next to her and Taehyung was behind us. We all ran through the hallways and everyone started to stare and whisper. We finally reached to school gates and they put Mi Jin in the ambulance.

"I'm coming." Shinyoo said with watery eyes. The doctor nodded and she went in and sat next to Mi Jin.

"Shall I come as well?"I offered.

"No, it's fine." She answered.

"Are you sure?" I asked one last time.

"Yeah, I'll call you guys later." She said. And with that that the ambulance doors closed and they drove off. I stared at the road and couldn't believe what I witnessed.

I then felt Taehyung pat my back.

"Don't worry Kookie. She's going to be alright. She's a strong girl."

I hope you're right Tae. I really do hope you're right.

*Mi Jin'S POV*

I heard sirens and felt something on my face. My eyes started to slowly open and I saw people all around me. I looked over to my left and saw Shinyoo looking down at me. 

"S..shiny..oo.." I managed to say. 

He eyes shot open and she looked down at me. "Mi Jin.."

"Where are we?" I asked.

"Shh..we're going to the hospital." She answered.

The hospital? Why are we going th---oh... Wow, they beat me so hard that I have to go to the hospital. I felt my eyes get watery and my body was in agony. 

"S..sun..ja." I started to stutter and closed my eyes tight to avoid the pain in my ribs. 

"Sunja did this, didn't she." Shinyoo looked mad. 

"Y..yeah." I answered still with my eyes shut tight.

"She's going to pay for this." I heard Shinyoo say, I just left it and fell deep asleep. 

(AT THE HOSPITAL 4:05PM)

I woke up and saw myself in a white room with a sand coloured couch opposite me and a big window with green curtains. I looked around alowly and saw my dad on a chair. He saw me and ran towards me and walked over towards me quickly. 

"Are you okay sweetie?" He asked looking wworried. 

"My ribs and head hurts." I aanswered rubbing my head.

"It's alright honey. Just take it easy." He then held my hands and and kissed my forehead. 

The door then opened and my dad turned around to look. I saw 3 figures and one was holding a bouquet of flowers. The figures then got more clear and I saw Shinyoo, Jungkook and Taehyung. I saw Shinyoo's eyes get watery and she ran towards me. I bit my lip to stop me from crying and opened up my arms for her. She hugged me gently and I wrapped my arms around her. 

"Shh, I'm okay, don't cry Shin" I said stroking her hair. I heardher sniffing and we stayed in that position for a few seconds. She then pulled away and held my hand. 

"Are you sure you're okay?" She asked whilst wiping her tears.

"I'm okay. Don't worry. My ribs just hurt a bit." I answered giving a soft smile.  She sighed in relief and sat down on the couch. Taehyung then came and gave me a quick gently hug and I smiled at him. He then went over to Shinyoo and sat next to her. Jungkook was in the doorway holding the flowers while looking down. 

"..C..come on kids. Let's get something to drink." I heard my dad say. Shinyoo and Taehyung then got up and they walked put of the room closing the door behind them. Jungkook and I were only in the room and I tried to sit up but I just winced in pain. Jungkook heard me and rushed towards me. 

"Hey..take it easy." He then helped me sit up slowly and put the flowers on the table next to my bed. 

"You feeling alright?" He asked sitting on the chair next to me.  

"My whole body is in pain.." I said looking down at my hands. 

I heard him sigh. "Who did this to you Mi Jin." 

"...I...I don't remember their faces." I lied, I know exactly who did it. But if I say that it was Sunja and those two girls then...she might really kill me. 

"Mi Jin, don't lie to me. I know you know who did." He looked at me and his lips formed a straight line. 

"..." I just looked down at my hands and felt my eyes get watery. (guise, this part is gonna be emotional and cheesy af) "It was Sunja alright, she got these two girls to beat me up. Just because I was hanging out with you." I felt tears roll down my eyes and I covered my face with my hands. I then felt Jungkook wrap his arms around me and I just cried in his chest. He buried his face in my neck and I felt his hot breath on it. 

"That jealous witch." I heard him say. I giggled a bit and my tears stopped falling. I felt him smirk on my neck and we pulled away. "Why'd you find that funny" He asked while smiling. 

"It's just that I never hear you say those things around her." I answered while laughing a bit. 

"Well you never saw me with her ey. She gets on my right nerves." 

I just smiled and I held his hand. "Thanks for always being right by my side Kookie." 

He gave me a soft smile and held my hand softly. "I'll always be by your side." 

*SHINYOO'S POV*

"Omg omg, they're so cute." I whispered. Taehyung and I were secretly looking at Jungkook and Mi Jin. 

"Shinyoo, they might see us.." Taehyung said worryingly. 

"Nah, they won't."

"What are you two doing?" Someone with a deep voice said. 

Taehyung and I screamed in sync and I jumped on him, makin him carry me in bridal style.

"....oh....Mr...Kim...heeyy." I said getting off of Taehyung.
