~Kali's P.O.V.~

I freeze as Luhan looks at me in shock, his fingers locked around my arm. "Kali...." He says, his voice low and frightened, "You...cut?" "It's nothing," I say, yanking my arm free of his grip as I regain the ability to move, "Just an experiment." His eyes widen as I pull down my sleeve. "Experiment? For what?" I bite my lip, looking down. "Um..."

"Hey, it's okay," Luhan says, his voice becoming soft as he steps towards me, "You can tell me! All I want is to help you!" I look up to see his face full of concern, not the disgust or disappointment I was expecting. "Truly?" A small smile slips onto his lips. "Truly." I sigh. "Arraseo. Take a seat, this may take a while."

~Unknown's P.O.V.~

"Storm," A voice echoed in my earpiece, "I need you and Xero in my office, now." I lift a hand and grab my minature mic, lifting it to my mouth and pressing on. "Arraseo, we'll be there in a moment." I drop the mic as my parter looks up from his book. "What is it?" "We're needed in boss's office." He nods, marking his page and standing up. "Arraseo, noona, let's go."

My brother and I quickly jog down the hallway to our boss's office, stopping in front of the door. I lift my hand to knock when a voice speaks lowly from inside. "Come in." I look at me brother for a moment. He nods, and I push open the door.

"Ah, Song, Jiho," our boss says as we walk inside, "Nice of you to join me. Have a seat." I nod, and the two of us sit in the seats opposite of his desk as our boss folds his hands. "Well," Boss says, "I'm assuming the two of you have heard of the activities of Brooks." We nod, "Then I figure you know of his recent experiment."

I look up at my boss in surprise. "What of her?" "She is in grave danger," Boss says, his face solemn, "And it's up to the two of you to save her." My brother sits forward. "What do we do?" Boss takes a deep breath, closing his eyes. "You must separate her from her family, and put an end to the use of magic as we know it."
