Bolting down the street, feet padding harshly against the wet tarmac, damp hair sticking to my face as the cool wind sends chills down my back. Eyes trailing to a flowing coat in the distance. Speeding up my pace, the man hit a dead end and turned around with a smirk. Raising my gun, I stared back at him in fear. He was the reason. He was the reason my parents were dead.
"Put the gun down." I heard from behind me. The sound was quite muffled, but I managed to hesitantly turn my head. That new hero.....uh.....Spider-Man was it?
"No!" I breathed, my voice was trembling like crazy and my body was shaking so bad that if I fired the gun it would never hit the fugitive.
"Killing someone is not logical. Whether it's revenge or just of out jealousy." His voice was soft and lulling. Soon the loud sound of sirens came closer and closer, causing my palms to get warm and teeny beads of sweat to slip down my forehead.
"If killing someone isn't logical then why'd he do it? Why?" That's when I cracked. Police cars sped in by the dozens and their sirens wailed simultaneously. Throwing the gun down, I took off over the fence. Hopping down, I hauled my ass to the bridge, jumping onto my motorcycle, I revved the engine and took off, leaving Spidey to follow after.

Crumpling to the floor, tears trailing down my pale cheeks, I let out soft whimpers.
There was no one here for me. Never an 'I love you' or 'how was your day'. It was just an empty house. An empty, rotten, rusted, paint-peeling, empty house, with an idiotic, depressed girl to keep it company. More like vise versa.
The wind howled through my open window, causing the curtains that blocked me from the outside to flap widely. Goosebumps covered my arms and legs as the pouring rain spattered upon the hard wooden floor.
This was no way to live......lonely....and dirty. I was in no way setting myself up for a nice life. Letting out a heavy, shaky, sigh, I stared blankly at the tan paint peeled wall before me.
"Caught ya." A voice said. Gasping, I looked over and saw the blue and red spandex-ed boy in the window. The mask tugging from the tightness of the material.
"Yeah well.....I knew you would. No shocker there....you always do." I muttered to myself, pulling my knees up to my chest.
"You're so fragile. Why would do that?" He inquired, jumping down and hesitantly walking over.
"Because he's the cause of my pain. The reason why I'm stuck here all alone." I answered truthfully, blood spattering memories replaying in my mind while I shuddered.
"He killed your parents?" He sat beside me on the floor, crossing his legs over one another.
"Yeah....." I pulled the gun from my pocket, "here." I tossed it to him.
"What would I need this for?" He cocked his head to the side.
"You don't, I just.... I think it would be better if you take it. If I keep it I'll end up going back and killing that man." I chuckled, glancing over at him.
The lightning out the broken window crackled a popped, causing me to wince. The man in the tights jumped to his feet and ran out the opening without a goodbye.
"Well," I thought," goodbye Spider-Man."

FanfictionI frantically looked around for something....anything.....but it was pitch black. There was nothing TO see. Tears silently slipped down my cheeks as the foot steps softly faded out as they padded further up the stairs. I was in an attic. Alone. I...
