~*~*~*~* Stella *~*~*~*~
Pulling my hair through the hair band and into a bun, I smoothed out the bumps and collapsed onto my beaten up matress. The poor thing had gigantic holes ripped through it, dark spots, and springs sticking out. Every once in a while the springs would slice my back when I slept. I never seemed to notice until I woke up the next morning with dried blood on my sides.
Descending the creaky old stairs, I snatched my shoes from the bottom, and slipped them onto my bare feet. Lacing them up, I grabbed an apple out of the fruit bowl and skipped out the front door. I was in an extremely good mood this morning and I couldn't place my finger why. Crossing the street, the sun high in the sky, I bumped into someone.
"Oh, my apologies.......Peter?" I inquired, giving him a curious look.
"Hi Stella." He stood himself up, grabbing the arm load of his things and attempting to push his glasses further upon the bridge of his nose.
"Would you like some help getting all this back to your place?" I politely asked. He hesitantly nodded, and I took the things he handed to me.
Starting off on our journey, I saw him glancing warily at me.
"Problem Mr. Parker?" I chuckled, giving him the same look jokingly.
"Weren't you the girl with the gun yesterday? Ya know.....with Spider-Man?" He said in a small voice.
"Um.....yea.....yea I was. Why?" I answered, shifting the objects so I could get a better grip on them, my feet moving in their steady pace.
"I was just wondering......n-n-no reason." He stuttered, looking off in the other direction.
"Okay then!" I shrugged as we came up to his door.
"I'll take that." He said, grabbing his things from me. Opening the door for him, he stepped in and I closed it.
Well......that was weird?
*~*~*~*~ ~*~*~*~*
Taking my hair out of the bun from earlier, I ran a hand through the slightly knotted strands. Shoving my front door open, I started my somewhat regular nightly stroll. Observing the beautiful night surrounding me, I heard a bit of shouting. Normally I would think nothing of it, but then there was a gun shot. And after the gun shot came a loud thud. Sprinting towards the sounds, I found myself in an ally.
"Don't get yourself killed Stella." I muttered to myself.
"Who the hell are you? Why are you here? This ain't your business!" He yelled, aiming the gun.
"No.....no, you're right.....it isn't, but you can't just kill these innocent people." I reasoned, my fingers curled into fists.
"Who the hell do you think you are? Why do I care what you have to say?" He spat, rolling his eyes. Then I heard a gunshot. I knew it was fired from his gun, but I was determined not to look down. But I did anyway.
Blood was poring out of the hole in my stomach, and I shook it off. The man chuckled and ran off, leaving me a bit dizzy.
"Come one Stella, you can do this." I spoke encouragingly to myself. Placing my hand on the hole, I dug my fingers in and pried the bullet out. Gripping it in my hand, I stumbled down the street, my head spinning. Soon enough my vision was tripling and it was hard to keep my focus. The streets were really empty considering it was New York. My knees buckled beneath me, my eyes rolled to the back of my head, and I squeezed the bullet that was in my right hand.
"Nice nightly walk Stella." I thought.

Save Me Spider-Man (The Amazing Spider-Man FF)
FanfictionI frantically looked around for something....anything.....but it was pitch black. There was nothing TO see. Tears silently slipped down my cheeks as the foot steps softly faded out as they padded further up the stairs. I was in an attic. Alone. I...
