Oct 4th 12:34 p.m.
Lilac opened her eyes, still covered in make up from the previous night, to be greeted by daylight streaming through the half open curtains. She still thought of river, how he made her feel more alive than anyone ever has in one night, well since she could remember. He made her feel again. Like he ignited a fire that had been long blown out.
She sat up in bed and looked around her room, clothes, rubbish, shoes, make up and whatever else that had taken to living in her room. Oh and her cat... Somewhere underneath it all. Rubbing her eyes she swung her legs of the bed and stood up. Walking to the bathroom was difficult, mostly due to the banging in her head and the obstacle course in the way. She reached the bathroom and did all the necessary things, like go to the toilet and clean her teeth.
*bring bring... Bring bring*
"Hello?"
"Lilac! You have to come to the hills right now!" Lilac had trouble hearing the male voice on the other end due to all the obnoxious noise on the other end.
"What? Why?"
"He's back."
"I'll be there in 5."
Lilac threw her phone onto her bed and quickly pulled a denim jacket on over her massively oversized top in her haste and stepped into her shoes before grabbing keys and her phone and heading out the door.

River awoke from his peaceful slumber from banging downstairs. His eyes were alert and his heart beat rapidly. He quietly got up and out of his bed and crept towards the door, silently pulling it open. No one was supposed to be home so it couldn't have been one of his roommates. Sneakily walking down the stairs in an attempt for whoever it was not to hear him. At the bottom of the stairs in the kitchen he wrapped his fingers around a frying pan.
Standing by the door way he held it up.
Footsteps came closer.
And closer.
And closer.
And closer.
On the last moment before they could walk through the door frame, river brought to pan back and swung, successfully hitting the intruder in the face. River moved away from the door and held the pan in front of him.
"Ow, why did you do that?! That really freaking hurt you know!"
"Noah?!"
"The one and only. Nice to see you too." River grabbed ahold of Noah's arm and pulled him up.
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to tell you that he's back."
