Chapter Two: Bring Back The Past

April's Pov

*night*

While I was scrolling on my phone, reading old messages that I should probably delete, my phone buzzed. It was a text from Ryan. Wtf?

"Hey! I know I just met 'ya but I need to chat some important bizz with you." He texted.

This is weird... Am I that trusted?

"Uh... Okay? When, where, and what's the topic?" I texted back.

"At the coffee shop where we met, 6:45 sharp and I'll discuss everything tomorrow, thanks :)" He answered back.

Okay? What the hell's going on? Is Zyle planning this just so my 'lamp' dream would come true? Something's weird going on with Ryan. Something important? I mean like... We just met a few hours ago, and 6:45 a.m.? Since when did he started to wake up that early? There's something suspicious. I just can't seem to figure out.

I just better sleep this off. And it's probably like, 11:01 p.m.? I still need to wake up early for Ryan's meet up and I still have jetlag.

*morning*

*beep**beep**beep*

My alarm beeped as I opened my eyes to see day light shining on mah face. I snoozed off my alarm and took a quick look at my phone. It is still 6 a.m.

"I have 40 minutes to get ready and 5 minutes to skate to Coffee Pub." I said to myself. I got up, fixed my bed and walk to the bathroom... Everything is still a mess.

After taking a long bath that took me forever it's time to choose an outfit and there is still... 9 minutes left? I need to hurry up. So I just took some black skinny ripped jeans (I love black skinny ripped 'cause it goes with any top) and some random top and converse then head out.

I reached Coffee Pub at exactly 6:43 which I have some time to order. I head up to an empty table right on the corner and sat down.

Ryan came in as I waved my hand to signal him that I was at the corner. He saw me and smiled then sat down.

I changed my face to a serious one. "You're late!" I slapped the table. He laughed.

"No I'm not." He rolled his eyes.

"What are we gonna talk about?" I asked making his face look serious as I slurped from my cup.

"So you're the best... friend of Zyle, huh?" He said, I nodded. "Do you know everything... About her?"

"Well, duh!" I grinned.

"Well," he looked down. "I've been wanting Zyle to be mine for the past 2 years and I can never accept the fact that I have been friendzoned. Will you help me?" He looked steadily in my eyes.

"Why me?"

"Because you just told me you know everything about her... I really need you in my plans." He begged.

So I agreed and obviously we have to plan stuff and topics lead us to other deep stuff... THE PAST.

"Hahaha! That was an interesting story of you when you were a teenager." I laughed

"Yeah... Well what about you?" Ryan asked.

"Hhmmm, my mom once told me that before we lived in the Philippines we lived in... Where was that? Oh, Hawaii! I studied there until I was in highschool then we moved. But I'm not really sure if that's true because I experienced a car crash when I was 18 or something." I said unsurely.

"Sorry to hear that." He looked down. "What else did your mom say?"

"She said that I kinda had a crush on my bestfriend who is a wrestler too... Oohh! His name was like, Bryan? Riley? Ry- Ryan! Yeah... What a coincidence."

Ryan smiled then his face became serious again and he widened his eyes.

"Wait, did that 'bestfriend' of yours teasesd you 'May' all the time?" He started tapping the table.

"Yeah something like that." I nodded with a smile. "How'd you know?" I questioned.

"What the hell? When I was a kid, it was Zyle who's my bestfriend and in highschool it was a girl named April who I teased 'May' every single day... Which is... You..." He pointed at me, my eyes widened.

"Dafuq?" I paused. Realizing something. "Yan!!" I pointed at him as I teased.

"Stop calling me that." He slapped my hand and smiled. "So it is you."
