Chapter Eleven: Stupid Argument

April's Pov

Zyle and I have to sleep on the same bed since my apartment only has one room. We had lots of fun tonight, hanging out with her is the best! But still... I don't get it! Why doesn't Zyle like Ryan.. Is there any specific reason? When we were back in the Philippines she wanted Ryan so bad... Now, I just don't understand.

Zyle's Pov

~morning~

I woke up earlier than April. I went to the kitchen and grabbed some milk and cereal for breakfast. I checked my phone and noticed it was 9:06 a.m. I quickly placed tge bowl in the sink and washed my hands. On my way to the bathroom I saw April on the couch, scrolling on her phone.

"What 'ya doin'?" Like Isabella would say from Phineas and Ferb. Haha lol! She looked up.

"Textin' Ryan." She looked back down her phone and started to type down words.

"Oh, texting Ryan early in the morning? Eh!" I wiggled my brows as she tried to ignore me. "What you two texting about?" I asked, leaning closer to her phone to take a peek.

"Somethin' important." She said, not even bothering to look up.

"I don't think so.."

"Look you have a friendly date this noon so why don't you get dressed." She angrily looked up. Wait, why does she knows... I never said anything about it last night.

"Wait, why do you know?" She started to act weird. Again!

"Uh.. Because Ryan told me? Duh!" Hhmm... Smart move April, smart move.

"Well, ok. I'm gonna, keep on going what I was suppose to do now." I started to walk away and head to the bathroom.

I got out of the bathroom 30 minutes after [A/N: Don't act like you haven't spent 30 minutes in the bathroom. Ladies!] and I am ready to change. I went inside the room and saw April still texting Ryan. She looked so focused and serious.

Ryan's Pov

I woke up around 8:45 and checked on April and Zyle. I texted April to see if Zyle is getting ready.

April's Pov

After Zyle was done in the bathroom, she came out and chose an outfit to wear. She did take my advice and wore a dress but the dress she wore was, like, from a couple of years ago.

"What?!" I dropped my phone dramatically and cocked a brow. "Seriously? You're gonna wear that on your date?"

"Date?" She looked down, confused. "It's not a 'date'," She air quoted, "it's just a friendly date." She said calmly.

"Whatever," I rolled my eyes and then back at her. "Still a date though."

"There's nothing wrong with my outfit, it's cute the way it is, plus it's a dress!" She felt annoyed. Oh, I love it when I annoy her, feels like I have achieved a goal today. I deserve a pat in the back.

"Yeah, it's a dress but... Haissstt! That's, like, from 2 years ago." Starting to have an argument. Not gonna lie... Feeling kinda annoyed by her too. Do bffs feel the same about their other bffs? Or is it just me? Hope I'm not the only one out there :/

"Fine! What am I gonna wear then?" She gave up. I win!!

"Hhmm.. Aha!" A lightbulb hit me in the face.

I looked for something in my closet and JACKPOT! I took out my dirty white crop top with red roses (her fave ;) ) as details and took out my black high waisted skater skirt and a black thick leather belt as a finishing touch.

She wore my choice of clothing and she looked so perfect. She wanted to wear heels but it won't match the outfit. Got it! Black. Leather. Shoes... With HEELS!! It will give the illusion that she's wearing shoes but it has heels in it. I swear I have one or maybe two of those in here...

"This isn't even a dress." Zyle complained as I showed her the heels.

"Pphhhss. Stop your whining. And wear this. Promise, it looks 100% perfect in you." I tried to convince her.

"I mean, I guess."

"See?" I plastered a smile on my face. Another pat in the back. Good job!

"Wait," my smile disappeared, "did you and Ryan plan this out?" Uh oh.. Busted! Okay, play it cool. Act like you know nothing.

"What! Where in the world would you get that idea from?" I faked a laugh. God!

"Hmm.. Ok!" Close one!! Super close.

Just in time! Ryan's here. Took me a long time to make her wear the whole outfit. She was being so stubborn and so childish but it was all worth it.

I held out a huge thumbs out gor Ryan. He gave me a thumbs up and a huge smile.. He mouthed me a quick 'thank you'. Meh. Good enough.
