Chapter Six: Planning

I'm sorry {again} for the long wait...

April's Pov

"So what's the plan?" He tucked his hands in his pocket.

"Oh, yeah..." I flopped on the couch. "Come," I patted the seat next to me, "sit and talk."

He sat down next to me. I never thought he would be so behave. This is not the Ryan I use to know.

"Why are you so dang quiet? We gotta finish the plan tonight!" I screamed while taking a bite of my burger. Mm! So yummy!!

"Oh. Er it's just that.. I don't remember you this way." I could probably tell that he's actually 'scratching his neck' {fake scratch if you didn't get that}

"Well, you gotta get use to the new, confident, loud ME!" I smiled. He rolled his eyes and mouthed 'whatever'. "So what do you wanna do on your first 'date'?" I air quoted date and gave him a double wink. He gave me a furrowed brow.

"Well," He started, "I want it to be a simple 'date'." He air quoted. "Because she doesn't know that it's a 'date'." And now we're just air quoting each other.

"Simple?" I thought of something and took a bite of my burger.

"And I also like to give her a bouquet of flowers." He added.

"Flowers?" I placed my thumb and index finger on my chin, thinking.

"The only problem is... I dont know what kind of flowers she wants." *facepalm* Really Ryan?

After a few minutes of silence and thinking. "Got it!" A lightbulb hit me in the face and smashed my mind with options. (Don't ask how 'cause I don't even know.)

"Here's what you're first gonna do.. You're gonna date at the first place you met."

"But we already done that!" He complained.

"The park?" I gave him another option.

"Nah.. Done"

"Okay, how 'bout your house... Just set up a candle lit lunch for two!" He smiled this time.

"That could actually work." He grinned.

"K. Then you're gonna give her the flowers, roses by the way, then next thing to do is EAT!!"

"Uh-huh!" He listed it down on his phone. "Just one thing, why do you always eat but never gain weight?" I eyed him.

"Because I'm healthy... Well sorta... I guess?" I answered back. "Oh, and also, bring a jacket whenever she gets cold."

"Ok... So when is this gonna happen?"

"Depends on both of you." I scratched my arm.

"Okay! I'll tell you as soon as I ask her." He gave me a wink and I smiled.

Ryan's Pov

Our conversation was weird, well, weird for me because she was wearing pj's and I'm still all dressed up from earlier's mall walk.

Oh, shoot! I forgot to tell her about Greg and Daina. Ugh! ADHD...

"I forgot to tell you... Uh, Daina and Greg...."

"What about them?" She raised a brow. Giving me an 'are you gonna tell me' look.

"Its not easy to say this but... They're leaving RHPC." I squinted and eye.

"That's sad to hear."

"Yeah.." Silence occurred. "Anyways, thanks for the plan. We'll start when Greg and Daina leave 'cause we're gonna have some fun first." I smiled.

"Can I come with you to the airport?" She asked without any hesitation.

"Yeah, in fact, you should come tomorrow at the house 'cause we're having a celebration for Diana's baby." She was shocked.

"Daina's... Pregnant?"

"Yeah... About a month or so."

"Well, thanks for stoppi g by and sharimg the news... Oh, when's the flight?" She asked with a fake smile on. I know she's feeling the same. We don't want to lose Daina and Greg too.

"The day after tomorrow." I said with hesitation. I didn't wanna say the words because I know it's gonna hurt me more.

"Oh.." She frowned and looked down. "I'm gonna canxel everything that I need to do and spend time with you guys." She exclaimed with excitement.

"Cool!" I said as she opened the door.

"So," she looked at her wall clock, "9:45.. I guess I'll see you tomorrow." She smiled.
