Chapter Thirteen: Little Chat, Big Mess

April's Pov

It's currently 5 in the afternoon and Zyle and Ryan just arrived from their 'date' and they both seem to be happy. They must've had a great time.

"Oh, Ryan, Zyle how was your date?" Zyle froze. "I mean friendly date." I smiled to avoid the awkwardness from entering the conversation.

"It was fun." Zyle looked at me then at Ryan with a smile.

"Did he do something wrong? 'Cause if he did I'm totally gonna beat his ass off." I started to crumple my fist and gave him a dirty look, jokingly.

"No," she shook her head, " He didn't do anything wrong."

"Oh." I bring down my fist and smiled... As if I never said that.

Ryan's Pov

As April turned away Zyle held my shaking hand. Why must she terrify me infront of Zyle? Now I feel a bit embarrassed.

"You 'k Ryan?" She locked her hand in mine and gave me that cute smile she always does everyday. It calmed me down. I nodded and smiled at her back. She looked down, and chuckled.

"Ryan." I turned back to see Sean with a girl. She must be Nicole.

"Sean!!" I gave Sean a bro hug as his girlfriend smiled at the two of us.

"This is Nicole, you know... The one that we-" He stopped. I gave him a smirk.

"Yeah I know." I started to slowly nod.

"Hi." Nicole said shyly and waved a little wave. She gave us a cute smile and tried to avoid eye contact. Sean chose the right one.

"So who wants to see a movie?" Sean said enthusiastically after the silence.

Everyone's eyes of boredom switched into eyes of excitement. Everyone was arguing which type of movie we should all watch. I am a bit stressed tonight, it wasn't easy being this close to Zyle again. At one point I almost yelled at them for being so loud. I just need to cool off.

In my right side was Zyle and in my left side was Sean and Nicole. Derrick and Erika sat at another couch along with April. April wanted some space and seriously... She moved inches away from Erika and Derrick. I chuckled at her when she looked so grumpy. She is the only one that has no 'bae'.

When we were down to the last part of the romantic movie, we were all in tears, except for April who is just covering herself in a thin piece of blanket and obviously scrolling on her phone to avoid being teased that she's just as lonely as Marley on the second floor.

April's Pov

Ugh! This night totally sucks! I'm so bored. Yes, I admit stalking is not as fun when you know them already. Why must they all agree in watching A Walk To Remember? I have watched that, like, a bazillion times already and I'm sure they have watched it too. And no, it's not because I don't have a someone, it's because... I cannot express my feelings, my love. I have never been into any serious relationships, I mean, a lot of guys court me and try to be sweet but I just feel like no one is compatible for me. I just want a guy who will be my first and will be my last. I could not help their whining, I finally came out of my shell which is my blanket and went to the kitchen for a glass of water. After my drink Nicole followed.

"I see that you don't like romantic movies." Nicole looked down ate her glass, giving a tiny smile on her face.

"Yeah."

"Don't worry!" I looked at her, confused. "I hate romantic movies myself." If she hates romantic movies then why did she cry at the ending? My brain is messed up right now.

"Wait, why did you watch the whole entire movie and cried?" I cocked a brow. Saying thise words as if she was acting suspicious.

"Oh, that? I just did that to look cute in front of Sean." She said, taking a sip.

"How come you hate romantic movies?"

"Ugh! Don't get me started! How the ending is so predictable and the boy always gets the girl and so much more!" She said with a disgust look and started to fake throwing up. I think we're gonna be good friends I could already tell. Our conversation was endless but unfortunately Ryan has to end it.

"Whoo! That's the last time I'll ever cry." Ryan wiped his tears and walked towards us. "Oh April, have you cooked dinner?"

My eyes widened in realization, I remembered that I was gonna cook something in the Chipotlé menu for Ryan and it's too late to start cooking now! It's almost 8:30 and Ryan doesn't like to eat late.

"Uh..." My heartbeat pounding like a million mallets hitting it. "No."

"Wait, so you mean no Chipotlé food?"

I took a deep breath and about to answer when, "It was my fault, Ryan." Nicole backed me up and covered me. "I kinda distracted her from getting her job done. I know you love Chipotlé stuff but if you really wanna hit something... Do it unto me but not on April." I felt terrified.

Ryan clenched his fist and wanted to hit both of us so bad. He was about to hit Nicole but I know I couldn't let that happen. I jumped in Nicole's position and tried to stop Ryan.. Too late! He punched me in my mother freaking face!

"Dude! What the fuck did you do?" Sean said running towards me and Nicole, like every movie does.

"I'm fine, I'm okay, really." I said as Sean helped me up.

The rest of the Rhpc came in the scene and saw a little bruise on my left cheek. They were all in shock as Ryan was speechless after realizing what he did to my face!

I heard Nicole everything to Sean. Sean's face turned red and clenched his jaw.

"Really man? For fucking food? You almost hit my girl." Sean started pushing Ryan's shoulders. Never heard Ryan this mad before.

"Look, dude, at least I didn't hit her." He pointed at Nicole who was by my side, helping me stand straight.

"Yeah, you didn't. But you did it on April!" Sean took a step forward and looked Ryan from eye to eye.

"Guys, guys, don't be so immature! I'm fine oka-" Sean cutted me off.

"Is it okay to you being hit in the face for no reason?" Sean asked.

"No, but anyway, since I didn't cook I'll just order pizza okay." I exhaled. "I'll pay."

They all nodded as Ryan just rolled his eyes at Sean. Then Sean came close to me and whispered, "Don't worry, April. I'll pay! Since you saved Nicole I'll save you." I smile. Thanks Sean.
