Hey. I'm Dylan, a.k.a. 'That one emo kid'. I am 16 yrs old. At school,I'm popular, but in the way you might think. Popularity is being known by many people and I am, but that doesn't mean I have very many friends,or that people ever talk to me because, they don't. Which is fine with me because the less people I have to interact with the better. I have my small group of friends that I talk to and that's all I need. I don't usually like to talk to anyone else.
At home,I live with my dad,step-mom (Tracy) and twin half brother and sister,Mitchell and Maya, they are 3 and a half. I also have Sweetie. Sweetie is my Pomeranian, she is the cutest, sweetest ;),most loving puppy ever. She is my baby. Whenever I am super depressed, she knows it. She cuddles up next to me and makes the cutest little pimpering sorta noise.
I also have a musk turtle named butterfly (The twins named him). He's a very chill turtle. He likes carrots, lettuce, and tomato's but nothing else. He's picky, but he is the best turtle ever. Nobody will ever know how much I love that adorable little turtle and fluffy little puppy. Mostly because I would never tell anyone.
I sorta have a 'don't talk to me' kind of a image. I mean I smile at people if they look at me but then I look away. I don't exactly like human interaction but that's mostly just because of my severe social anxiety.
I have had social anxiety for as long as I can remember but it wasn't actually clinically diagnosed until I was 13. It has always been an issue. Especially when it came to making friends growing up. I only really got 2 friends that I have had through it all. Thier names are,Tristan, and Charlotte. I call them Tri and Char or I just call them Becky, (don't ask) depending on my mood but I usually just call them Tri and Char.
Tristan, has been my friend since I was 3, his dad is friends with my dad. He would bring Tristan over and we would play with remote control cars and things like that. When we first met we became friends almost instantly and have been best friends ever since. Now Charlotte...I didn't meet her until I was 6, in kindergarten. She was a very quiet kid, still is but not with me. I remember the day very clearly actually, (flashback) Tristan and I were playing with some wierd giant Lego blocks. We saw a girl about our age in the corner of the room and decided to go say hi. we walked over, she had medium brown hair, light pink shirt on that, (what we could see) had a large, felt flower on it, blue jeans and black, shiny shoes and white socks (which when I look back on that now did not go well with her outfit she was wearing). "Hello" Tristan said she looked up at us I had my head down but had glanced up at her and smiled. She had bright blue eyes. "Hi.."she said, and quickly looking down again. "What's your name?" He asked her. "Ch-charlotte.." she replied quietly, "Charlotte?" He asked, unsure of what she had said. "Yes" "ok Charlotte, I am Tristan and this is Dylan" he said looking toward me. she looked up at me as I also looked up as her eyes pierced into me.
"H-hi Ch-charlotte" I say to her, "hello. D-do you guys w-wanna b-be my f-fwiends?" She said hesitantly.
From then on, all three of us have been best friends (and aren't as shy around each other).
