I dreamed of my first day of high school since I was little. It's finally come. And I'm going to be late! I had gone to Okami since kindergarten. I jumped out of bed and raced downstairs. I grabbed an apple and my backpack and rushed back upstairs. Roxy! I called to my younger sister. What!? Time to go! Roxy popped out of her room perfectly ready. I grabbed her hand and rushed out the door in too much of a hurry to notice the pink streaks in her hair. I left Rox at the entrance to the betas division and then ran into the alpha division quickly. Suddenly the nervousness of first day in high school caught up to me and I gulped watching people walk past quickly. I looked around and saw a girl who looked as confused as I felt. Are you lost? I asked smiling at her. She was pretty. She had long grey hair and cheerful grey eyes. I'm not lost I'm just looking around. The girl blushed seeming to protest as she blushed lightly. I smiled. Oh ok. I replied kindly. Oh hey who's your teacher? Uh.... she thought for a second. Mr Lane. She said it so quietly I almost didn't hear her. Really!? Me too! I said excited. Yes! First forever friend of high school. I cheered in my head. Come on were already late! I happily pulled her to class. She went to one side of the room and watched for her name. I stopped at my friend Shiloh's desk. Most People are aftaid of her because of her wolf power. Hey Shy! I greeted her. Hi Aki. She smiled and waved a little. What's your extra curricular this year? I asked. Glass blowing. She replied. Nice. I smiled. You? She asked. I made a face. I have animal taming again. I sighed. Well see ya around! I bounced around and found my seat. I was glad it was next to my new friend. I glanced at her name plate. Luna. That's beautiful. I wish mom had named me something like that. My name just means bright. I caught Luna staring at the group of people around Amber. I should warn her. If Amber or her fan girls catch her then she's in for a hell of a year. She's the popular one. Her name is Amber. I leaned over and whispered to her. Oh. Luna looked down probably dissapointed that she can't make another friend. I smiled. I knew how to cheer her up later. Just then Mr. Lane walked in. I helped Luna out since she's a new here. At the end of the day Mr Lane listed off our lockers. I only listened long enough to know that I got locker 27 and Luna got 28 right next to mine. Locker buddies. I smiled and whispered to Luna. I know she whispered and smiled back. Then we went to our lockers to drop our stuff off. After we were finally dismissed I walked with Luna home. So how was it? I asked curiously. School? It was ok. She seemed to stare off into space for a moment. It sucks dosen't it? I teased. We both laughed together. I waved goodbye as Luna walked into her house. As soon as she was out of sight I rushed to put my plan into action.
