Chapter 7:

Narrator's POV

A day and a half has passed since SeYi first woke up from recovering. The group planned on visiting Changmin for the first time after he was released from the operating room. Doctor Kim MinSeok predicted his recovery sleep to end by sunset of today. The guys first came to visit SeYi to check on her before all of them went to visit Changmin.

"Why do all of you look anxious and nervous?" SeYi asked, sitting in her hospital bed as she stared at her group of male friends.

"Because we're visiting our favorite nephew today." Kai cheered and the rest smiled in agreement.

"You're seeing Changmin today???" SeYi lit up.

Baekhyun nodded. "Yep! Do you want to come along?"

"YES! Let's go!"

Chanyeol nudged Baekhyun on the shoulder. "What kind of a question was that? It's like you don't already know the answer." Chanyeol rolled his eyes as the other made a poker face.

"We'll have to discharge you tomorrow evening though." Suho added. "Just to make sure that you rest a bit more before coming back home."

"But why can't I just go home now and rest at home?" SeYi questioned.

"Staying here will make sure that your shoulder is 100% immobilized, which will help you recover quickly."

"Suho's right. Just one more night and you'll be out before you know it." Baekhyun supported.

SeYi pouted. "But it's so uncomfortable here..."

Suho, who was standing near her bed, approached her a playfully squeezed her cheeks. "Aigoo~ don't use that pouting method on us this time. It's not going to work." He let go and SeYi massaged her cheek as she glared to the wall on the other side.

The guys chuckled and Kyungsoo brought out a lunchbox from behind him. "I made Changmin a lunch~ His favorite!"

"Where's mine?" SeYi asked curiously.

"Oh..." Kyungsoo explained, "Zhang Yixing, Suho's co-worker, made more food for you today and brought them here before you woke up."

"Wait... 'more?'... So the lunchboxes I ate from the other day and yesterday weren't from you, Kyungsoo?"

Kyungsoo shook his head. "Nope."

"No wonder... I was wondering why Kyungsoo's cooking all of a sudden improved. They were actually Lay's." SeYi joked, causing the guys, excluding Kyungsoo to burst into laughter.

Kyungsoo made an unpleasant poker face and Kai covered his ears protectively. "Don't insult Kyungsoo's cooking like that. Kyungsoo's cooking is the best!"

SeYi smiled at Kyungsoo, calling for peace. "I was just joking. Kyungsoo's cooking is always going to be one of my favorites."

"So what do you call Yixing?" Suho asked his female friend.

"Lay."

"Did you make that up?"

"No. He told me that I could call him that. He says that only his closest friends call him that."

Suho also eventually made a poker face and looked the other way, feeling betrayed. "... That playboy..."

2 and a half hours later.

Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Kai, and Kyungsoo were first to visit Changmin's hospital room. Suho stayed behind to transport SeYi to them.
