Chapter 2:

Narrator's POV

The sun awakened brightly and happily. Waking up at 6:30 in the morning, SeYi prepared breakfast for Sehun and Changmin. Sehun woke up before the little boy did and changed into his weekend clothes, a simple hoodie and jeans. He strolled over to the dining table, sitting down in front of the food.

"Changmin isn't awake yet?" He asked, grabbing the mug of coffee in front of him.

SeYi sat down across from him with a bright grin on her face. "Nope, not yet. He must be worn out from yesterday. Kai and Suho came over to play with him.

Sehun already knew that and absolutely didn't want to be reminded of it.

"Did you work overtime last night?" SeYi asked while spreading some butter on her toast bread.

"You can say that." He answered blandly.

"Because you were out pretty late."

"I bet you enjoyed that." Murmured Sehun, very quietly. However, SeYi heard, letting go of the food in her hand.

"What did you say?" She asked, confused.

He just glared at her, letting go of his utensils. Sehun leaned back against his seat and crossed his arms.

"Is falling asleep on the couch with Suho Hyung some sort of way of seducing him?" Sehun fired.

SeYi blinked in confusion and cluelessness. "What? What the... what the heck?! Sedu- Suho- WHAT?!"

The other scoffed with a huge portion of arrogance, glancing to the side before proceeding. "Don't play innocent with me, SeYi. You intended on having him sleep over so to prevent him from leaving, you fell asleep with him still here, making him have sympathy for you since I wasn't home yet."

"Sehun. What the heck?! Se- se- seduce? Suho? Are you out of your mind?! I'm married! More importantly, married to you!"

"Yes, SeYi. You are married to me, who wasn't home on time last night. And it seems that you saw that time as a perfect opportunity to invite Suho Hyung over so you could flirt with him while I was gone."

SeYi furrowed her eyebrows in agitation, "Flirt?!" She huffed and puffed in anger, making a hard effort not to explode. "Suho came over on his own terms. I never called him to come visit, nor did I insist for him to wait for you with me."

"Liar. I know you like him. I can see it!" Sehun retorted. "Sehun, have you lost your sanity?!"

Suddenly, Sehun slammed his hand onto the wooden table, causing for all of the tableware to jump briefly. Raising his voice, he yelled, "I saw it with my own eyes! He left after you feel asleep."

SeYi stood up from her seat and slammed her hand on the table as well. "You have no clue what happened last night, so you have no obligation to accuse me, Sehun! If you really want to know what happened, why don't you just let me explain?"

"Then tell me why! Tell me why exactly Suho hyung had to stay over at our house, alone with wife, so late at night! Just try to lie to me, SeYi! Try me!"

"Sehun, all we were doing was waiting for you to get home! He insisted on staying so that I wouldn't have to feel so lonely late at night. I told you already. Why won't you believe me?!" During the last sentence, SeYi slammed her hand on the table one last time before entering a complete silence.
