A New Battle Begins

The sun shone brightly through the hospital window, as Seth Rollins looked out it waiting for his loved ones to return from their walk. He sighed as he watched the people pass by, wishing he could be like them; enjoying the beautiful day with his family. Unfortunately, life for him and his loved ones was never that simple; in fact their life was so crazy and out of control right now Seth didn't know what to do anymore!

A few months ago his life was busy; thanks to his job as an FBI Agent, but it was simpler! That all changed though when Seth and his best friend...brother and partner FBI Agent Roman Reigns, were asked to come and help take down one of the most ruthless, feared, powerful, violent Crime Families ever The Authority! When they agreed to help, neither realized how much it would change their world; turning it completely upside down; all because of two Authority members Dean Ambrose and Paige!

The four of them over time had become close like a family; Roman fell in love with Dean, and Seth fell in love with Paige! They had been through so much together; including Dean and Paige leaving The Authority, which of course caused a lot of problems for the four of them...it still did, because The Authority weren't about to let their top two people go! To show they meant it they kidnapped Dean, making Seth, Roman and Paige believe Dean was dead! They discovered he was alive though and went after him to Hawaii, which eventually led to a shoot out between them and The Authority! Dean had been shot and seriously injured in the gunfight by another FBI Agent who had been wanting to get rid of Seth and Roman for a long time named Thomas Ford; Ford was also shot in the shoot out by Hunter and killed.

All of that and more led them to where they were now, at the hospital with Dean; who was slowly getting better and stronger every day, and a meeting with one of the heads of the FBI bureau in two days about The Authority case and Ford's death! Only Seth knew about the meeting, but as time passed he knew he had to tell Roman about it. His thoughts were interrupted by his loved ones returning, he turned to them smiling, as they greeted him.

"Hey Two-Tones, you made it!" Dean said smiling, as Roman pushed his wheelchair to his bed.

"Hey guys, I just got here actually!" Seth replied, as Paige went to him and kissed him. "How'd your walk go?"

"Good, I was able to get out of my chair for awhile today and walk around for a bit!" Dean announced happily.

"That's awesome D!" Seth said smiling, happy to know Dean was getting better, after how close they came to losing him. "How you feeling?"

"Good, a little tired and sore, but good!" Dean answered, as Roman helped him back into bed. "Ro and Paige made sure I didn't push myself!"

"Good! I hope you guys are hungry, cause I brought lunch!" Seth asked, as they all sat down.

"Are you okay babe? You seem a little tense?" Paige asked Seth.

"Yeah, I'm fine! Just a little tired, that's all!" Seth answered, wishing that was really the truth!

"Let's eat I'm starving!" Dean said smiling, as they all laughed.

**The Next Day**:

The next morning Seth sat on his bed, starring out the window, he was running out of time to tell Roman about the meeting; it was tomorrow, but he was worried about telling him. Roman had been through so much already and Seth was worried that this would finally break him, there was only so much a person could take! He ran his hands over his face, before he got up and headed to the main part of the room.

"Hey Two-Tones, sleep well?" Roman asked smiling, when Seth joined him.

"Morning Ro!" Seth answered. "I...I uh, couldn't sleep!"

"Why? You feeling okay man?" Roman asked worried.

"Uh, Rome...there's something I need to tell you!"

"Seth, what's going on?"

"Um...the day of the shoot out, when I went for my walk, on my way back I...I ran into someone!" Seth explained, as he paced.

"Who?"

"Reed!"

"What?" Roman asked shocked, as he stood. "He was here?"

"Is here!" Seth corrected him.

"Why?"

"He's here to talk to us about what happened, we...we have to go talk to him tomorrow!"

"Tomorrow? Seriously? What are we going to do?" Roman asked.

"We need to get our stories straight first, then we go to the meeting and tell the truth...only we tell our truth!"

"Wait, what do we tell Dean and Paige?" Roman asked.

"We tell them nothing!" Seth answered.

"You mean we lie?"

"Not exactly Ro, see they don't know about the meeting! So, by not telling them anything we aren't really lying!" Seth explained.

"I guess you're right! I just wish this would all end, so we can finally be happy!" Roman said sighing, as he sat down.

"I know, me too." Seth said gently, as he sat beside him. "I promise you that as soon as we're finished with the meeting and we bring The Authority down, we'll finally be able to live a happy, normal life with Dean and Paige!"

"Yeah, let's start figuring out what we're going to say." Roman agreed, as he sighed again he hoped Seth was right, he wasn't sure how much more he could take.
