A New Battle Begins

Fighting Back

Roman tossed his phone onto the passengers seat, before he checked the road and seeing there was no traffic, he quickly did a U-turn and began driving in the opposite direction towards the hospital! 15 minutes later he arrived, he parked, before he grabbed his phone and got out. He quickly rushed inside, and went to the front desk where a pretty, young nurse was working.

"Can you help me?" Roman asked.

"Of course sir, what do you need?" She answered.

"I received a call that my brother was here, he's been in some kind of accident!"

"Alright, what's his name?"

"Seth Rollins!"

"Spell the last name please?"

"R-O-L-L-I-N-S, Seth Rollins!" Roman answered, as she looked him up on her computer.

"Ah, here he is! He's still with the Doctor, so if you'll have a seat in the waiting room his Doctor will come talk to you as soon as they can!"

"Look Miss, I've had a really bad night, so could you just give me a break and tell me where my brother is?"

"I'm sorry sir, I can't!"

"Okay, fine! Can you at least tell me if he's alive?"

"Sir, please just have a seat in the waiting room, his Doctor will be with you soon!" She replied.

"Fine!" Roman said giving in.

Roman paced the waiting room for the 100th time, it had been an hour since he arrived and he still hadn't heard anything yet about Seth! He had called Reed not long after he arrived to let him know about Seth and to find out how Dean and Paige were; Reed had refused to let Roman speak to Dean and Paige when he asked. Roman was trying to keep it together, but with each passing second he didn't know anything, he felt himself losing control! As he paced he thought of everything that had happened in the last two hours, first Dean and Paige are arrested and now Seth's been injured in some kind of accident! There was only so much a man could take and Roman was close to breaking!

"Family of Seth Rollins?" A male voice asked from behind him.

"That's me!" Roman said quickly, as he turned around. "I'm his brother Roman!"

"I'm Doctor Banks, I've been taking care of Seth since he was brought in!" Banks said shaking Roman's hand.

"How...how is he?" Roman asked, as they sat.

"Well, Seth was found in an alleyway, he had been beaten and left there by his attackers."

"Wait, what? He...he was beaten?" Roman asked confused.

"Yes, I'm afraid so." Banks answered.

"How is he?"

"Well, whoever did this to him wanted him to suffer! He has multiple cuts and bruises all over his face and body; some cuts required stitches, in total he has about 50! He has a broken nose, broken left wrist and three broken ribs, as well as a concussion!" Banks explained.

"Will he be okay?"

"Yes, in a few weeks he'll be fine! You can take him home tonight actually, I'll send a nurse to take you to his room, while I finish signing him out!"

"Thank you Doctor Banks!" Roman said, shaking his hand, before Banks left.

Five minutes later, Roman stood outside Seth's door, he was not only nervous to see Seth, but also about having to tell Seth what happened to Dean and Paige! He took a deep breath, before he went into the room to find Seth trying to finish getting dressed, but he couldn't do it on his own with his injured wrist and ribs, Roman spoke.

"Hey, let me help you Two-Tones!"

"Rome!" Seth said, as he turned to look at Roman. "I'm so..." He began to apologize, but was cut off by Roman hugging him.

"I know Seth." Roman said quietly.

"Where's Dean and Paige? I need to apologize to them too!" Seth asked, when the hug ended.

"Um..." Roman trailed off.

"Ro, what the hell's going on? Where are they?" Seth demanded, as he began to panic.

"After you left...Reed showed up and um...arrested Dean and Paige!" Roman explained.

"He did what?" Seth asked shocked.

"I tried to stop him, but I couldn't! He wants us to meet him at the station, he wants to talk to us too!"

"Help me get dressed, we've got to go to the station! We..."

"Seth, you're hurt! You're not going anywhere, except to the hotel to bed!" Roman said cutting him off.

"Like hell I' am! Ro, how am I supposed to rest when my family; my brother and my girlfriend are sitting in jail?" Seth questioned.

"Seth, I..."

"No, Roman! I'm going to the station with you and you aren't going to stop me!" Seth said refusing to just leave Paige and Dean to go through this alone!

"Alright." Roman agreed gently.

"What...what are we going to do Rome?"

"I don't know Seth, but I promise you we will figure out a way to fix this, and bring our family home! We just need to stay strong for them okay?" Roman answered, before he hugged him again, Seth nodded.

"Okay, I love you Ro!" Seth said quietly, as the hug ended.

"I love you too Seth! Come on, let's get you dressed and go to the station!"

After getting Seth dressed, they left the hospital and got into Roman's car. The ride to the station was silent, as both men thought about Dean and Paige. As Roman drove he thought of everything that's happened, everything the four of them had been through! And how no matter what happened, the four of them stuck together and overcame it, and this time would be no different! There wasn't anything or anyone in the entire world that could come between them! This war between the four of them and The Authority, Reed and The Wyatts was far from over...in fact they had only just begun to fight!
