I looked back, picking up my dress as I ran. My killer, only inches behind me, spear in hand, his face expressionless, was just waiting to send that thing straight through my body.
I stopped behind a tree to catch my breath, getting only one thought through my head.

Today was a bad day to wear five inch heels.

I looked back again, as my body leaned forward planning to hit the ground hard. As this happened I knew that my killer was right behind me.
