Hey guys just to let you know, I don't really know how to add casts so it will probably be written out in the authors note after the book!

Toby and Wes talked for a bit. After Wes said whatever the new rule was, Toby looked concerned. He soon took away the liquor from him even though he wasn't done.

Once and a while they looked at me cleaning the counter tops. I could see it through my peripheral vision.

Soon, the clock strikes 10:00 pm, so I hung my smock up and went to the back room to take my things.

"Bye Toby I've got to go now." I said on my way to the front door.

"Ok bye." He said. I could hear that he wanted to say something more so I paused a second to listen. When he didn't say anything, I opened the door to leave.

It was chilly outside. I walked quickly to my car but was stopped by someone grabbing my forearm.

I yelped but turned around to see that it was Wes.

"What do you want?" I muttered when I saw him.

"Don't be difficult, I've had enough for one night. We need to talk." He said.

"Okay... About what?" I tried to say cooly but it probably came out wrong.

"I have a business offer for you." He said.

Then he slid a piece of paper into my hand.

"Meet me here tomorrow at 1:00" he said.

I was nervous. I wasn't going to meet up with a stranger. My mom taught me better than that. I mean, for all I know he could kidnap me couldn't he? He seemed pretty dangerous. I shouldn't take any risks.

"And why do you think I would willingly meet up with you again?"I said.

"You don't have a choice." He asked irritatedly.

He let go of my arm. And I proceeded to my car. I jumped in and drove home with tons of questions in my mind.

When I got to my apartment. I unfolded the paper. It said:

The beanstalk café

123 New York LN, 19875 (A/N This isn't a real address or cafe)

<*>

I was on my way to the beanstalk café. I was considering not showing up, but I knew Wes would come to work to find me. Or maybe he knew where I lived. Who knew what went on in his head.

He was obviously serious about this. I pulled up into the parking lot, around 1:05 pm.

I jumped out of my car and went inside. I knew he wanted to talk business so I found the preppiest outfit I owned. I hope I didn't look stupid. (Picture above).

I looked around the store for Wes. It wasn't hard to find the angry man in the corner.

I ran up to him and the man who always followed him around.

"You're late." He snarled.

"It's only 1:06." I said.

"Only? That's 6 minutes that I had to wait!" He said.

I think that's the longest sentence he has ever said to me. Huh.

"Sorry." I said, twisting the edge of my blazer.

"Anyway," he started, "I have a business deal to offer you.

"Okay.." I questioned.

"Relating to your violin career." He said

My eyes widened to the size of frying pans.

"How do you know about that!?" My violin was a personal subject I didn't share with anyone. It was both humiliating to say I had moved half way across the country chasing my impossible dreams and it was a sensitive subject.

"Toby told me."

Of course.

"I'm here to offer an exchange. I have many friends who are successful in the music industry. I could give you the chance you've been looking for. But, the road goes both ways." He said. His unwavering expression tattooed to his face.

Everything he said flew over my head except the words 'chance you've been looking for'. Maybe this guy was useful after all! My spirits lifted and I got super excited thinking about how I could prove to everyone back home that this was worth it.

"You- you can help me? Get what I want? Bu-but how? Why?" I respond dumbstruck and speechless.

"With a cost." He grumbled

"Oh I'll do anything trust me!" I said. I was getting my big break! That's the only thing I could think about.

"So you'll pretend to be my fiancé then wife?" He asked.

And just like that, my happy thoughts died.

ミ●﹏☉ミ

Wife?!?!

Oh don't act so shocked everyone knew it would happen. lol.

Ok bye.
