Trisha Winters-
Adam wasn't religious. My late husband was though, which was probably why addy hated it, because if god couldn't save his father, what would his purpose be? The policewoman are telling me that I have descended into shock. Shock. I fought I saw an angel once. I told them that, but they just exchanged the look of Crazy Town, and told me to rest. Their right though. The only angel on earth is adam. My adam. But I will pray. Anything for my Adam to return, and maybe after this we will go to church. We may even pray for his father. But first Adam must come home, guided by god or not, he must come home.
The tea they gave me hour ago is now cold, and the swarm of police has slowed to a trickle, like molasses. The sun has set and I briefly wonder what adam wants for dinner, before the memory of adams empty room slaps me back too reality. How could I even think of dinner at this time, this event. But common sense disappeared the second I opened my addys room to see rumpled covers and an empty bed. All that's left is this feelng of emptiness that I'm drowning in.
