Chapter 13

Bella's P.O.V.

I just told Taylor to ask Alice out on a date and he has to be on his best behavior and at least act like he likes her a little bit. I just can't shake that guilty feeling of how Hayley is going to react with all this. The best thing to hope for is that she never finds out any of this.

I began noticing that Alex and Izzy haven't even said a word about this whole thing. Alex was there when it all started and I'm pretty sure he has told Izzy about it. What was going on with Carson that day when he freaking winked at me! That just wasn't him I know he would never do that much less sit at my table. He never even talked to me now all of a sudden he acknowledged my existence?!

Now I have to finish up those algebra worksheets that Matthew gave us. Is it even legal to give students homework when you're not their teacher?

Taylor's P.O.V.

   Oh God what have I gotten myself into? I didn't think Bella would take it this far by making me ask out Alice. Out of all those people she wants me to ask out Alice?! Hayley's freaking enemy?

I really like Hayley and just hope she will forgive me for doing all this. F^*k me and my stupid a** pride. I just couldn't let Bella get away with what she did.

I'm still her older brother and the only reason Alex and I came up with this whole protective policy is so she wouldn't get hurt. She's our little baby and we just couldn't afford her to get heartbroken because we both know that feeling sucks.

Hey bro can u come over here in 10?

Sure wanna tell me a reason? I might have to leave soon tho. Alex responded

I'll tell u when u get here.

Couple minutes later the doorbell rang. I jogged downstairs and opened the door and saw an annoyed Alex.

"What got your panties in a twist?" I asked

"I just wanna know why you need me here because I've got places to go dude. You're just lucky you have such an amazing best friend." Alex exclaimed

"You should be asking yourself why you have an amazing best friend." I replied

"Ugh you and that stupid ego of yours. Can't believe I've dealt with it for this long. Anyways are you going to let me in? Cuz if you aren't I'll gladly go."

"Alright alright come on in and meet me in my room gonna get some snacks."

"K"

I quickly went to the cupboard and grabbed a bag of chips and two sodas in the fridge. Then went up the stairs entering my room greeted with an Alex sprawled on my bed with his phone in his hand.

I tossed the soda to him and sat down on my chair.

"So start talking," he said "Never would I have thought I would become your therapist."

"Oh shut up, what I have to say is important. Remember that night when we found Carson talking to Bella when we were gone? Who knew what would've happened if we didn't show up." I began.

"Yes I remember." He hissed through his teeth and gripped his phone rather tightly.

It's good to know your best friend cares for your little sis almost as much as you do and is also over protective of her too. I'm glad I have Alex.

"Anyways we made that bet and the other day in school Bells told me to get Alice's phone number and now I have to ask her out. Do you know the history of Alice?!" I practically shouted

"Dude rest your breasts and yeah I heard rumors. Isn't she like that girl Heather's ex best friend of something like that?"

"Yeah but it's Hayley not Heather." I defended

"Alright Mr. Protective. I don't see your problem."

"Don't you get it? I can't have Hayley know or see Alice and I together because I like her. After this whole thing is over I'm planning to ask Hayley out and I don't what her not be able to trust me."

"Ohhh so Taylor here has a crush of Ms. Hayley. Ahh.. Just letting that sink in."

"Ughhh!!" I groaned "Just do me a favor and not let word spread like a wildfire at school okay? But I bet Alice freaking told the whole female population about what I did. Just make sure Hayley does NOT find out alright dude? I trust you and don't let me down okay dude?"

"Yeah got it bro. Now if you excuse me I have to go to get flowers for my girl because she thinks I flirted with another girl."

"Did you really flirt with another girl?" I questioned raising my left eyebrow

"No she's just on her period and is going crazy. Oh I should also get a box of chocolate or something."

I chuckled," Alright see ya later have fun with a crazy Isabelle."

"Shut up it's not fun when you have a moody girlfriend. But see ya later."

He then got up and threw his soda away and we did a bro hug. I guided him out the door and went back to my room and picked up a book and started reading. Call me a nerd but football players read okay? Deal with it and besides it's a good book.
