My Over Protective Brother

Chapter 4

Bella's P.O.V.
After we got back from my grandma's house Daniel and Jack decided to tag along so we all went back to our house.
"Hey Bells can I talk to you for a second?" Taylor asks me
"Umm yeah sure." I replied and hoped this isn't going to be about Jack. Taylor took me by the arm and dragged me into his room.
"Take a seat." He said while pointing to his bed. I did as I was told and looked at him.
"So I guess you know why you are here then." He asked
"Yeah I think so."
"Good so first off why was his arm around your waist?" He questioned with a serious look on his face.
"I don't exactly know." I confessed
"Okay but you do know that if he even does anything to you and I mean ANYTHING I will beat the poop out of him."
"Yea I know and you do know he is still downstairs with Daniel right?" I said trying to change the subject.
"Yeah I think we should get going." he said as he extended his arm out for me. I gladly took it and we walked downstairs.
"Hey I was wondering where you two were." Daniel said.
"Well here we are." I said trying to sound sarcastic.
"Okay so what do you guys want to do?" I asked
"I don't know what do you want to do?" Jack asked. Right after he said that Taylor gave him the stink eye. I sighed.
"Please don't answer my question with a question it annoys me. But I'm serious what do you guys want to do? I'm really bored and want to do something." I said with an irritated tone.
"We could watch a movie and then just make something to eat." Alex offered. "Umm yeah I guess that sounds good. Is it cool with you guys?"
"Yeah of course it just gives me more time to spend with my favorite cousin." Daniel said while looking at me.
"Awww come on Danny I thought we were a thing." Taylor said while putting his hand over his heart. Wow someone is a drama queen.
"Umm no I think I like Bella better than you, sorry Tay." Daniel says with a smirk on his face.
"Hey can I invite Izzy over?" Alex asks. My eyes went wide as I gasped.
"Yes yes yes!!!!!!" I said jumping up and down. Let me tell you who Izzy is. She is my best friend and is also dating Alex. I didn't approve of them until later on because I know how Alex is with girls and I didn't want Izzy to be one of them. I've known both of them for a long time and I just don't want one of them to get hurt in the end. Izzy is short for Isabel and she has blonde hair up to her shoulders with blue eyes and is 5"6. Ughh now that I think of it I'm always the short one and I don't like it because people always think you are younger than your actually age. Well there are good things about being short you can fit in tiny spaces and can always find good hiding spaces when playing hide and seek. Ding! I quickly run to the door and I almost slip but managed not to and opened the door to see my best friend. "Ahhhhh!!!Izzy!!!!" I said while engulfing her in a hug.
"Well hello to you to Bells." She said while hugging me back. Then Alex came and gave Izzy a peck on the lips.
"Hey babe." he said.
"Hey" she replied
"Uhhh if this is going to mushy and all lovely I'm out of here." I said while they were kissing.
"Yeah I think I'm going go.... cya." I said while running back to the living room and plopped down next to Daniel.
"Hey back so soon?" He asked
"Yeah they were making out how could I not be." I answered. He just laughed.
"So what are we going to watch?" Jack asked.
"How about a scary movie?" Taylor suggested.
"Yeah sure why not." Jack and Daniel said at the same time.
"Oh hell no. You guys know how much I HATE scary movies." I said
"Oh come on don't ruin the fun." Daniel said in a teasing tone.
"Ok well you guys can watch your scary movie while I'm in my room." I said while getting up.
"Nope you are going to watch it with us and get through it because you need to face your fears." Daniel said in a demanding voice and patted the seat right next to him.
"Do you seriously want me to have nightmares until I'm 80?!!" I exclaimed
"Just stop arguing with him and just watch the movie." Taylor said in an annoyed and bored tone.
"Fine but if I'm going to have nightmares I'm going to blame it on you two." I said while pointing at Daniel and Taylor.
"Hey where is Alex?" Jack asked
"Probably with Izzy." I answered
"Oh okay." he replied
"I'm going to pop some popcorn." I announced
"Okay." they all said. I waited until it was done and put it into a big bowl so everyone could get some. Then Jack walked into the kitchen.
"Hey do you need anything?" I asked.
"Umm yeah I kinda need you." He said nervously
"Wait what?!" I said. What does he mean? What does he want? Ughhhh!! Just shut up brain. Before I could think of anything else Jack was already kissing me. He lips were so soft and I placed the bowl down on the counter and before I could do anything else I heard Taylor screaming. I quickly pulled away and saw Taylor at the door looking at us. "What in the world do you think you are doing?!!" I heard Taylor say and he grabbed Jack by the collar and threw a punch directly at his nose causing him to have a bloody nose.
"Taylor!! Stop! You're hurting him!" I said in panic trying to get him off Jack.
"That's the point little sis." He said while gritting his teeth. Then he threw another punch but this time it was towards his cheek.
"Never touch,kiss,hug,look, or talk to my sister ever again!" He said angrily. Then he walked out of the kitchen taking to popcorn with him and walked out like nothing happened.
"I should get you cleaned up." I said shyly. We went to my bathroom in my room and got the first aid kit.
"Look I'm so sorry about what happened down there it's just Alex and Taylor can be very protective of me."
He chuckled and said "Yeah I could tell." I cleaned the blood coming from his nose and gave him an ice pack for his bruises.
"Thanks and I want to tell you why I kissed you." He said softly.
"Oh ok go ahead." I said
"Look just needed to know if I'm straight or not." Ohhhh now that makes more sense i thought to myself.
"So do you now know?" I asked not sure which I should be hoping for.
"Yeah I do." He said.
