I stop at the classroom door, my hand hovering in the air halfway to the knob. Wait, they're in my class...what do I do? Maybe they didn't recognize me... I silently peer through the little window on the door. Honey is smiling happily and pointing at something in a book, leaning over Takashi's shoulder. Takashi has a small smile on his lips. Do I just walk in and pretend I don't notice them? No, maybe I should...no, I can't skip or switch class now... I sigh. Well, I guess I just have to go with it...besides, it's not like I am the one who banned me from ever having anything to do with him...father did... I take a deep breath, exhale, and turn the handle. But don't open the door. What am I doing...I have to go to class, but my feet won't move...am I...nervous?  My heart had beat so fast when I saw him yesterday...can I really handle him being in the seat right behind me?  I shake the thought away. Even so, I have to go. I push open the door and step inside. Takashi and Honey turn towards my direction. I swallow the lump in my throat and give a small smile, before walking past them to take my seat. Neither of them speak, nor I, but the entire session of class, I feel someone watching me. I glance at the clock several times. Come on, come on, ring the bell already! I silently bob my right knee up and down under my desk impatiently. Please hurry... Just as I think that, the large hand on the clock turns to the last digit. I quickly get out of my seat, just as the bell sounds, and quickly leave my last class behind. I'm sorry... I go to Kendo Club. No one is here yet so I suit up quickly and walk into the Dojo, after bowing at the edge. I practice my posture and sword arm. Movement in the corner of my eye has me immediately swinging my weapon in that direction. My weapon meets another's. I stare down my opponent. I was silent, same as him. "Quick reflexes. That's good. Those will come in handy if you are ever attacked." I hear a older gentleman's voice say before he comes into view. I stay silent. "This is Yasushi Takeo, you will be assessed as the two of you fight, he will learn your weaknesses and expose them, you will learn to use them to your advantage, same as your strengths." Who I assume is the Intructor says. I nod in understanding. I've trained and sparred to the point where I don't even know my weaknesses. Up until a couple years ago, I had trained with Takashi... We had trained together many times, until it got to the point where he was the only one who was able to find my weaknesses, No matter how good I got. Not only that, but it got to the point where he was the only one who was able to overpower me every time... "The next few days, will be focused on disarming your opponent. Choose your partners and begin." The Instructor says. "Yes sir!" We all say. "Very good. Now then, since you are new, you and Yasu will fight first." He says, stands in a corner, and watches us. The other 4 walk off the mat to watch us. There is 6 students in total including Takeo and I. "Prepare yourself!" I hear Takeo say before I have to meet my weapon with his. He holds nothing back, attack after attack, but no matter how he attacks, he is unable to disarm me. Finally, I disarm him, and his weapon goes flying backwards. He stares at me shocked. His shoulders rise and fall repeatedly, showing he is almost at his limit. "Well done, next pair." The Instructor says. We nod, face each other, each fisting one hand, before bringing our second hand up straight, press our fists to the secondary hand, and bow. That showed good sportsmanship. Pretty much saying good fight. We walk off after and watch the other pairs. Since Kendo Club only lasts an hour, its time to go in no time. The other students go off to the showers and lockers. I start to leave but am stopped. "Nagasaki." I hear my name called and turn in that direction. The Instructor was watching me with a friendly smile. "Yes master?" I ask in a male-like voice. He chuckles. "You don't have to change your voice with me. I'm aware of your situation. The Chairman informed me." He says. My eyes widen in shock but I recover quickly. "He didn't tell me that.." I say nervously. He chuckles. "I expected as much. But yes, I know everything. You must really like Kendo to hide your true self just to join this club." He observes. I nod. "Those were some expert moves you showed out there. How long have you been in Kendo?" He asks curious. "6 years." I say. His eyes slightly widen. "Really?" He asks. I nod. He nods his head in approval. "Keep up the good work." He says. I nod and leave the Dojo behind.
